Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self-efficacy dan academic adjustment pada mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas Universitas Brawijaya. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas di Universitas Brawijaya sebanyak 46 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan 2 skala, yaitu General Self-Efficacy (GSE) yang telah diterjemahkan Born (1995) untuk mengukur self-efficacy dan skala academic adjustment yang digunakan merupakan transadaptasi yang telah dilakukan oleh Pratiwi (2017) dari subskala Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ) untuk mengukur academic adjustment. Analisis data dalam penlitian ini menggunakan korelasi Pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan academic adjustment pada mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas, maka hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Hal ini ditunjukkan denga koefisien (r) = 0,506 dengan (p<0,05).
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship of self-efficacy and academic adjustment in students with disabilities at Universitas Brawijaya. The subjects in this study were 46 students with disabilities at Brawijaya University. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used 2 scales, the General Self-Efficacy (GSE) which was translated by Born to measure self-efficacy, and the academic adjustment scale that was adapted by Pratiwi, from the Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ) scale to measure academic adjustment. Data analysis in this research uses Pearson product moment correlation. The results of this study notes that there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and academic adjustment in students with disabilities, hence the proposed hypothesis is accepted. This is indicated by the coefficient (r) = 0.506 with (p <0.05).
