Abstract
Ibuprofen adalah obat yang digunakan sebagai analgesik/antipiretik dalam swamedikasi, dan dapat digunakan tanpa menggunakan resep dokter, namun pemakaiannya harus dengan pengawasan dan petunjuk dari tenaga kesehatan karena memiliki efek samping potensial yaitu gangguan fungsi lambung. Masyarakat masih sering menggunakan obat ibuprofen secara swamedikasi. Permasalahan yang sering ditimbulkan yaitu ketepatan dalam penggunaan obat. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi ketepatan penggunaan obat adalah tingkat pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan ketepatan swamedikasi obat ibuprofen pada anak di Apotek Kota Malang dan telah mendapatkan persetujuan dari Komisi Etik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Brawijaya dengan nomor surat 184 / EC / KEPK – S1 – FARM / 05 / 2019. Metode penelitian ini adalah cross sectional dengan pemilihan sampel apotek menggunakan teknik cluster sampling, sedangkan responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pengisian kuesioner terhadap responden. Jumlah responden yang diperoleh sebanyak 61 responden sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi dari 15 apotek. Pada penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil tingkat pengetahuan orang tua di Kota Malang yang melakukan swamedikasi ibuprofen terbanyak kategori baik (70,49%), cukup (18,03%), dan kurang (11,48%), dan pada ketepatan penggunaan obat terbanyak pada kategori tidak tepat (72,13%) dan tepat (27,87%). Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Somers’d (p<0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai probabilitas (p = 0,000<0,05) dan koefisien korelasi (r = 0,360), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan ketepatan penggunaan obat ibuprofen dalam swamedikasi pada anak dengan kekuatan korelasi lemah.
English Abstract
Ibuprofen is a drug that is used as an analgesic/antipyretic in selfmedication, and can be used without a prescription, but its use must be with supervision and guidance from health workers because it has potential side effects, namely impaired gastric function. People still often use ibuprofen as a medicine for self-medication. The problem that is often caused is accuracy in the use of drugs. One factor that can influence the accuracy of drug use is the level of knowledge. This study aims to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge with the accuracy of the self-medication of ibuprofen drugs in children in Malang City Pharmacy and has received approval from the Ethics Commission of the Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University with letter number 184 / EC / KEPK - S1 - FARM / 05/2019. This research method is cross sectional with pharmacy sample selection using cluster sampling technique, while respondents with purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted by filling out the questionnaire against respondents. The number of respondents obtained was 61 respondents in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria from 15 pharmacies. In the research that has been done, the results obtained by the level of knowledge of parents in the city of Malang who carry out ibuprofen swamedication most categories are good (70.49%), sufficient (18.03%), and less (11.48%), and on the accuracy of use most drugs were in the inappropriate category (72.13%) and appropriate (27.87%). The statistical analysis used was the Somers' test (p <0.05). The results showed that the probability value (p = 0,000 <0.05) and the correlation coefficient (r = 0.360), so it can be concluded that there is relationship between the level of knowledge with the correct use of ibuprofen drugs in self-medication in children with weak correlation strengths.
