Abstract
Perilaku caring merupakan perilaku perawat yang peduli terhadap pasien pada saat memberikan asuhan keperawatan. Perilakugcaring dipengaruhi oleh kecerdasan dasar yang dimiliki oleh manusia yaitu kecerdasangemosional. Hasil pengolahan kuesioner kepuasan pasien di Instalasi1Rawat Inap I RSUD1Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang tahun 2018 menunjukkan ada beberapa kritik dan saran tentang pelayanan keperawatan. Beberapa hal yang seringbdikeluhkanboleh pasien dan keluarga merupakanbkomponen dari perilakubcaring yang tidak diterapkan perawat kepada pasien. Pada bulan Oktober 2018 didapatkan angka survey kepuasan masyarakat sebesar 84,21% dengan item terendah adalah kualitas pelayanan. Melihat data tersebut peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecerdasancemosional dengancperilaku caringcperawat. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakandtehnik purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 135 orang perawat di Instalasi Rawat Inap I RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearmen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar perawat memiliki tingkat kecerdasan emosional tinggi sebesar 60,7% dan perilaku caring baik sebesar 65,2%. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku caring perawat. (95%CI ; p = 0,000).
English Abstract
Caring behavior is the behavior of nurses who have concern for patients in providing nursing care. This caring behavior is influenced by the basic intelligence possessed by humans, namely emotional intelligence. The results of processing patient satisfaction questionnaire in the inpatient Installation 1 RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang in 2018 showed there were some criticisms and suggestions about nursing services. Nursing service items that are often complained of by patients and families are part of caring behaviors that are not applied by some nurses to patients. In October 2018, it was found that the survey number of community satisfaction was 84.21% with the lowest item being service quality. Therefore researches interested in researching to determine the relationship of the level of emotional intelligence with nurses caring behavior. This researchgmethod is observational analyticgwithgcross sectional approach. Sampling technique is a purposive sampling technique. A total sample of 135 nurses in Instalasi Rawat Inap I RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Data were analyzed using the Rank Spearmen correlation test. The results showed that most nurses had a high level of emotional intelligence at 60.7% and good caring behavior at 65.2%. The resultshof this research is there washa significanthrelationshiphbetween the level of emotional intelligence with caring behavior (95% CI; p = 0.000).
