Abstract
Indonesia sebagai negara tropis banyak menghasilkan kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L) yang dimanfaatkan sebagai sayuran tauge. Proses pemisahan kulit ari tauge yaitu secara konvensional atau dengan menggunakan alat pemisah kulit ari tauge. Alat pemisah kulit ari tauge memiliki kapasitas pemisahan 204 kg/jam dan efektivitas pengayakan sebesar 84,6 %. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang disusun secara faktorial. Perlakuan terdiri atas dua faktor, yaitu (A) kecepatan putar (RPM) dan (B) amplitude ayakan, masing-masing faktor terdiri atas 3 variasi, yaitu kecepatan putar 173 rpm, 186 rpm, dan 200 rpm dengan amplitude ayakan 6 cm, 8 cm, dan 9 cm. Parameter dari penelitian ini yaitu kapasitas pemisahan dan efektivitas pemisahan. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, uji (BNT) 5% dan 1% dan uji Dega. HasiL Kombinasi perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan kecepatan putar 173 rpm dan amplitude ayakan 8 cm dengan nilai kapasitas pemisahan 250,2 kg/jam dan efektivitas pemisahan 87,2%.
English Abstract
Indonesia as a tropical country produces a lot of green beans (Vigna radiata L) which is used as vegetable bean sprouts. The process of separating the skin from bean sprouts that is conventional or by using a separator of bean sprouts. The separator skin of bean sprouts has a separation capacity of 204 kg / hour and sieving effectiveness of 84.6%. This study uses a Randomized Block Design (RBD) method which is arranged factorially. The treatment consists of two factors, namely (A) rotational speed (RPM) and (B) sieve amplitude, each factor consisting of 3 variations, namely rotational speed of 173 rpm, 186 rpm and 200 rpm and amplitude sieve 6 cm, 8 cm, and 9 cm. From the research results were analyzed using ANOVA, 5% and 1% BNT test and Degarmo test. Results the best treatment combination is in the treatment of rotational speed of 173 rpm and the amplitude of the sieve of 8 cm with a separation capacity of 250.2 kg / hour and the effectiveness of separation of 87,2%.
