Abstract
Infeksi nososkomial kini menjadi salah satu penyebab meningkatnya angka kesakitan (morbidity) di rumah sakit. Di Indonesia angka kejadian infeksi nososkomial tahun 2013 diperoleh angka sebesar 6-16% dengan rata-rata 9,8%. Salah satu unsur penting dalam kewaspadaan standar untuk mengontrol infeksi adalah dengan mencuci tangan. Mencuci tangan menjadi rutinitas yang penting dalam usaha untuk mengontrol infeksi dan menjadi metode terbaik dalam mencegah transmisi mikroorganisme. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi Kepala ruang Model Proctor terhadap kepatuhan mencuci tangan pada perawat di Rumah sakit Panti Waluya Sawahan Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Pre Eksperimental one group pre dan post design. Besar sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 responden perawat pelaksana yang akan diobservasi sebelum dan sesudah penerapan supervisi model Proctor terhdap kepatuhan perawat dalam mencuci tangan. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh sebelum dan sesudah supervisi model Proctor menggunakan uji statistic Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan perawat sebelum supervisi model Proctor cukup dengan rerata 70 (min-max 50,0-70,0 %) dan setelah supervisi 75% ( 65-80%). Uji Wilcoxon dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi kepala ruang model proctor terhadap kepatuhan perawat mencuci tangan didapatkan nilai significancy 0,000 (p <0,05) yang berarti ada pengaruh supervisi model Proctor terhadap kepatuhan perawat dalam mencuci tangan. Diharapkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi kepala ruang model proctor dapat menjadi salah satu acuan dalam meningkatkan asuhan pelayanan keperawatan yang bermutu.
English Abstract
Infection nosokomial has now become one of the causes of increasing of morbidity in hospital. In Indonesia the incidence of nosokomial infections in 2013 was 6-16% with an average of 9,8%. One of important elements in the standard precaution for controlling infections is washing hands. Hand washing be an important routine in efforts to control infection and is the best method for preventing transmission of microorganism. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the influence of the head of the proctor model room on the obedience of washing hands on nurses at panti Waluya sawahan Malang hospital. The method used is pre experimental one group pre and post test design. The large of the sample in this study was 16 nurses respondents who were observed before and after the implementation of the proctor model supervision of nurses obedience in washing hands. To determine the effect before and after supervision of the proctor model using Wilcoxon statistical test. The result showed that nurse obedience before supervision of the proctor model was sufficient with a mean of 70,0 (min-max 50,0-70,0) and after supervision 75,0 (min-maks 65,0-80,0). Wilcoxon test was conducted to determine the effect of the supervision of the head of the proctor’s room on the obedience of nurses washing their hands a significance of the head of the proctor’s room on the obedience of nurses washing their hands a significance value of 0,000 (p<0,05) was obtained which means, there was an influence of the proctor model’s supervision of nurses obedience in washing hands. It is hoped that the supervision of the head of the proctor model room can be one of the references in improving quality nursing care services.
