Abstract

Nanas merupakan salah satu buah di Indonesia yang sangat disukai oleh masyarakat. Indonesia merupakan negara beriklim tropis yang berpotensi menghasilkan buah nanas segar maupun olahan nanas. Produksi buah nanas Indonesia mencapai 1,79 juta ton pada tahun 2017. Perusahaan penghasil nanas kaleng di Indonesia adalah PT Great Giant Pinneaple. Kapasitas produksinya mampu memenuhi 20% kebutuhan nanas dunia. Produk yang dihasilkan diekspor keluar negeri 40% diantaranya ke Eropa, 35% ke Amerika Utara dan 25% lainnya ke Asia Pasifik. Mesin yang digunakan dalam proses produksi pada PT Great Giant Pineapple beberapa kali terjadi masalah atau downtime mesin, sehingga penggunaan mesin kurang efektif. Menurut data pencatatan perusahaan, rata-rata downtime pada area line dalam kurun waktu 3 bulan mencapai 0,072% dari total waktu produksi, sedangkan pada area seamer mencapai 0,205% dari total waktu produksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besarnya nilai OTE pada bulan Juli-September 2018 sebesar 41,69%, 48,25% dan 44,27%. Komponen kritis yang dipilih darivii hasil OEE terkecil yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan FTA yaitu mesin Continous Cooker Cooler 5501 dan Food Machenary 5501, sehingga dari hasil tersebut basic event yang

English Abstract

Pineapple is one of the fruits in Indonesia that is very popular with the public. Indonesia is a tropical country that has the potential to produce fresh pineapple and processed pineapple. Indonesian pineapple production reached 1,79 million tons in 2017. The company producing canned pineapple in Indonesia is PT Great Giant Pineapple. Its production capacity is able to reach 20% of the world pineapple needs. The products produced are exported 40% abroad including to Europe, 35% to North America and another 25% to the Asia Pacific. PT Great Giant Pineapple uses several machines that support the production process, one of which is a machine for peeling pineapple. The machine used in the production process at PT Great Giant Pineapple has several problems or downtime engine, so the use of the machine is less effective. According to company records, the average downtime in the line area within 3 months reached 0.072% of the total production time, while in the seamer area reached 0.205% of the total production time. Based on the results of the study showed that the value of OTE in July-September 2018 amounted to 41.69%, 48.25% andix 44.27%. The critical components selected from the smallest OEE results were then analyzed using the FTA, the Continuous Cooker Cooler 5501 and the Food Machinery 5501, so that from these results the basic event prioritized for improvement was the temperature thermometer of the cooker in the two machines
