Abstract

Perawat memiliki beban kerja yang tinggi, perawat tetap dituntut untuk selalu tampil sabar dan tersenyum. Manajemen emosi sesuai tuntutan kerja (emotional labor) dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kejenuhan (burnout). Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalis hubungan manajemen emosi sesuai tuntuan kerja (emotional labor) dengan kejenuhan (burnout) pada perawat di ruang rawat inap RSUD Bangil Kabupaten Pasuruan. Dengan desain penelitian analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik one stage cluster sampling berjumlah 125 perawat. Instumen penelitian menggunakan Dutch Questionnaire Emotional labor (D-QEL) dan Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Hasil uji korelasi Spearman bahwa ada hubungan signifikan positif antara acting permukaan (surface acting) dan depersonalisasi (depersonalization) kekuatan korelasi kuat (p = 0,000; r = 0,538), ada hubungan signifikan positif antara acting permukaan (surface acting) dan rendahnya prestasi pribadi (reduced personal accomplishment) kekuatan korelasi cukup kuat (p = 0,000 ;r= 0,336), ada hubungan signifikan positif antara acting dalam (deep acting) dan depersonalisasi (depersonalization) kekuatan korelasi cukup kuat (p = 0,000; r= 0,428), ada hubungan signifikan positif antara acting dalam (deep acting) dan rendahnya prestasi pribadi (reduced personal accomplishment) kekuatan korelasi cukup kuat (p = 0,000; r = 0,394), ada hubungan signifikan positif antara penekanan (suppression) dan depersonalisasi (depersonalization) kekuatan korelasi cukup kuat (p = 0,000; r = 0,467), ada hubungan signifikan negatif antara penekanan (suppression) dan kelelahan emosional (emotional exhaustion) kekuatan korelasi lemah (p= 0,044;r= -0,180), ada hubungan signifikan negatif antara akting permukaan (surface acting) dan kelelahan emosional (emotional exhaustion) kekuatan korelasi lemah (p=0,046;r=-0,179), ada hubungan signifikan negatif antara akting dalam (deep acting) dan kelelahan emosional (emotional exhaustion) kekuatan korelasi lemah (p= 0,049;r=-0,176 ada hubungan signifikan positif antara penekanan (suppression) dan rendahnya prestasi pribadi (reduced personal accomplishment) kekuatan korelasi lemah (p= 0,022;r= 0,205). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan signifikan antara dimensi manajemen emosi sesuai tuntutan kerja (emotional labor) dengan kejenuhan (burnout). Sehingga untuk mencegah terjadinya burnout perlu dilakukan strategi pengelolaan emotional labor bagi perawat.

English Abstract

Nurses have a high workload, nurses are still required to always appear patient and smile. Emotional labor can cause burnout. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship emotional labor with burnout on nurses in the inpatient room of Bangil District Hospital, Pasuruan Regency. The analytic research design is correlation with cross sectional approach. Samples were selected using 125 one-stage cluster sampling techniques. The research instrument uses the Dutch Questionnaire Emotional labor (D-QEL) and Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Spearman correlation test results that there is a significant positive relationship between surface acting and depersonalization of strong correlation strength (p = 0,000; r = 0.538), there is a positive significant relationship between surface acting and reduced personal accomplishment the correlation strength is strong enough (p = 0,000; r = 0.336), there is a positive significant relationship between deep acting and depersonalization the correlation strength is strong enough (p = 0,000; r = 0.428), there is a relationship Significantly positive between deep acting and reduced personal accomplishment the strength of the correlation is quite strong (p = 0,000; r = 0.394), there is a significant positive relationship between suppression and depersonalization strength of correlation is strong enough (p = 0,000; r = 0,467), there is a significant negative relationship between suppression and emotional exhaustion strength weak correlation (p = 0.044; r = -0.180), there is a significant negative relationship between surface acting and emotional exhaustion strength of weak correlation (p = 0.046; r = -0.179), there is a significant negative relationship between deep acting and emotional exhaustion weak correlation strength (p = 0.049; r = -0.176 there is a significant positive relationship between suppression) and reduced personal accomplishment weak correlation strength (p = 0.022 ; r = 0.205). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between the dimensions of emotional labor and burnout. So as to prevent burnout, emotional labor management strategies need to be performed for nurses.
