Abstract
Suatu bahan restorasi harus mempunyai ketahanan terhadap beban kunyah. Salah satu sifat mekanik resin komposit adalah kekuatan lentur, yang berarti kemampuan suatu bahan restorasi untuk menahan gaya tekan dan tarik saat sedang berfungsi dalam rongga mulut baik daerah anterior maupun posterior. Resin komposit nanofiller mengandung filler dengan ukuran 0,005-0,1mikron dan matriks AUDMA dan matriks AFM, sedangkan resin nanohybrid mengandung filler dengan ukuran 0,1-2mikron dan matriks Bis-GMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kekuatan lentur antara bahan restorasi resin komposit nanofiller dan nanohybrid. Penelitian eksperimental laboratoris dengan post test only group design ini melibatkan 2 kelompok yaitu, Kelompok 1(nanofiller) dan Kelompok 2(nanohybrid). Sampel terbuat dari glass mold berbentuk balok berukuran 4x4x25 mm sesuai ISO 14049 sebanyak 10 tiap kelompok, kemudian penyinaran dan sampel dengan dimasukkan ke dalam inkubator bersuhu 370C selama 48 jam. Sampel diuji kekuatan lentur dengan Universal Testing Machine. Hasil uji statistik dengan berdasarkan uji T-test didapatkan nilai p = 0,03. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kekuatan lentur pada resin komposit nanofiller lebih besar dibandingkan resin komposit nanohybrid.
English Abstract
A restoration material must have resistance to chewing load. One of the mechanical properties of composite resins is the flexural strength, which means the ability of a restoration material to withstand the compressive and tensile forces while functioning in the oral cavity both anterior and posterior regions. Nanofiller composite resins contain fillers of 0.005-0.1 micron size and AUDMA matrix and AFM matrix, while nanohybrid resins contain fillers of 0.1-2 micron size and Bis-GMA matrix. This study aims to determine the differences in flexural strength between nanofiller and nanohybrid composite resin restorative materials. This experimental laboratory research with post-test only group design involves 2 groups namely, Group 1 (nanofiller) and Group 2 (nanohybrid). Samples were made of glass molds in the form of 4 x 4 x 25 mm blocks according to ISO 14049 for 10 groups, then irradiation and samples were put into incubators 370C for 48 hours. Samples are tested for flexural strength with Universal Testing Machine. Statistical test results based on the T-test test obtained p-value = 0.03. The conclusion of this study is the flexural strength of nanofiller composite resins is greater than nanohybrid composite resins.
