Rafika, Nadia (2019) Pengaruh Nanotransfersom Ekstrak Kulit Jeruk Nipis (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) terhadap Epitelisasi pada Penyembuhan Luka Mukosa Labial Tikus Wistar. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Background: Traumatic ulcers is the opening of underlying connective tissue in the epithelium and can cause the formation of the wound and requires new tissue replacement until the function can return to normal, one of the main phase is the proliferation of epithelium in injury area. Lime peel contains flavonoids which can increase epithelialization. The effectiveness of the drug can be increased by changing the compounds into nanotransfersome. Nanotransfersome is a drug-delivery system. Purpose: To determine the effect of nanotransfersome lime peel extract (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) to epithelialization for wound healing on labial mucosa in wistar rats. Method: This research used true experimental method in vivo with thermal induction of wistar rats labial mucous, divided into 4 groups with time series 3rd and 7th, that were negative control groups (K (-) 3 and K (-) 7), positive control groups that was given triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% (K (K ( +) 3 and K (+) 7), treatment groups that was given extracts of lime peel (P3A and P7A) and treatment groups that was given nanotransfersome extract of lime peel (P3B and P7B). Epithelial thickness was observed using a digital microscope with 400x magnification and the thickness obtained with digital micrometer. Result: Data analysis using the One-way ANOVA test showed differences in epithelial levels on days 3rd and 7th. Conclusion: Nanotransfersome lime peel extract (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) has effects to epithelialization in healing wounds on labial mucosa of wistar rats.
