Abstract

Jamur entomopatogen ialah kelompok jamur yang menginfeksi dan dapat menyebabkan penyakit pada serangga hama. Jamur entomopatogen filoplan tanaman lebih efektif dibandingkan rizosfer: Konidia di filoplan kontak secara langsung pada serangga hama yang menyerang daun. Perkembangan serangga hama dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor sehingga penerapan pengendalian secara tunggal tidak dapat mengatasi permasalahan. Di ekosistem tanaman padi menunjukkan perbedaan keanekaragaman jamur entomopatogen rizosfer padi ekosistem PHT. Eksplorasi dalam penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jamur filoplan yang berpotensi sebagai entomopatogen dari tanaman padi di ekosistem PHT Kendal. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Kendal, Kecamatan Sekaran, Kabupaten Lamongan, Jawa Timur dan Laboratorium Pengendalian Hayati, Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang mulai bulan Maret sampai Juni 2019. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 5 tahap yaitu: (1) penelusuran budidaya pertanaman padi yang menerapkan PHT pada Desa Kendal (2) ekplorasi jamur entomopatogen filoplan pada lahan pertanaman padi (3) seleksi jamur filoplan yang bersifat entomopatogen. (4) patogenisitas jamur entomopatogen filoplan terhadap larva S. litura. (5) karakterisasi sampai tingkat genus pada jamur filoplan yang berpotensi sebagai entomopatogen. Praktek budidaya tanaman ialah berhubungan dengan jumlah isolat jamur entomopatogen. Di Ekosistem PHT Kendal diperoleh dua isolat jamur entomopatogen filoplan ialah Rhizopus sp. (PK8) dan Beauveria sp. (PK4). Nilai indeks keanekaragaman jamur entomopatogen filoplan padi pada ekosistem PHT Kendal (2,00), nilai tersebut termasuk kategori keanekaragaman sedang. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian patogenisitas, isolat jamur Beauveria sp. (PK4) memiliki kemampuan patogenisitas sebesar 61,67%.

English Abstract

Entomopathogenic fungi are a group of fungi that can infect insect pests and cause disease. The entomopathogenic fungi of the Filoplan plant is more effective than the rhizosphere: the conidia in Filoplan comes into direct contact with the insect pests that attack the leaves. The development of insect pests is affected by several factors, so using a single control cannot overcome the problem. In the paddy plant ecosystem, there are differences in the diversity of the entomopathogenic fungi rice IPM ecosystem rhizosphere. This research aims to investigate the diversity of Filoplan fungi that can occur as entomopathogens in paddy plants in the IPM-Kendal ecosystem. The study was conducted from March to June 2019 in Kendal Village, Sekaran District, Regency Lamongan, East Java, and in the Biological Control Laboratory, Pest and Plant Disease Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University, Malang, paddy cultivation with IPM in Kendal Village (2) exploration of entomopathogenic Filoplan fungi on paddy planting areas (3) selection of entomopathogenic Filoplan fungi. (4) Pathogenicity of entomopathogenic Filoplan fungi against S. litura larvae. (5) Characterization at the level of the genus in Filoplan fungi that have the potential as entomopathogens. The practice of plant cultivation is related to the number of entomopathogenic fungi isolates. In the Kendal IPM ecosystem, two entomopathogenic Filoplan fungal isolates were obtained, Rhizopus sp. (PK8) and Beauveria sp. (PK4). The value of the entomopathogenic fungi diversity index of paddy Filoplan in the IPM-Kendal ecosystem (2.00) is included in the category of moderate diversity. Based on the results of the pathogenicity tests, Beauveria sp. (PK4) has pathogenicity of 61.67%.
