Abstract
Lulusan mahasiswa dari sebuah instansi pendidikan khususnya di bidang kedokteran gigi diharapkan mampu membantu untuk mengatasi permasalahan kesehatan serta memberikan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat. Kemampuan tersebut dapat diperoleh melalui produktivitas belajar mahasiswa selama menjalankan kegiatan pembelajaran. Produktivitas belajar mahasiswa dapat dilihat melalui prestasi belajarnya, seperti indeks pretasi kumulatif. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi prestasi belajar mahasiswa adalah lingkungan belajar yang dapat memberikan pengaruh pada motivasi, pengetahuan, dan pemikiran kritis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan belajar dengan indeks prestasi kumulatif mahasiswa tahap sarjana Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Brawijaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study design. Subyek penelitian ini (n=78) adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2015, 2016, dan 2017 yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Hasil uji korelasi spearman menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara lingkungan belajar dengan indeks prestasi kumulatif mahasiswa tahap sarjana fakultas kedokteran gigi universitas brawijaya (p<0.05).
English Abstract
Graduates of students from an educational institution especially in the field of dentistry are expected to be able to help overcome health problems and provide health services to the community. These abilities can be obtained through student learning productivity while carrying out learning activities. Student learning productivity can be seen through their learning achievements, such as the cumulative pretest index. One of the factors that can influence student learning achievement is a learning environment that can influence motivation, knowledge, and critical thinking. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the learning environment and the cumulative grade point of the undergraduate students of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Brawijaya. The research method used is analytic with a cross sectional study design approach. The subjects of this study (n = 78) were students of 2015, 2016, and 2017 who were in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study using the stratified random sampling technique. The results of the spearman correlation test showed that there was a significant relationship between the learning environment and grade point average of the undergraduate students in the faculty of dentistry of brawijaya university (p <0.05).
