Abstract
Dokter gigi secara umum bekerja dengan posisi statis dan kaku secara berulang-ulang dalam waktu yang lama di tempat praktik sehingga dapat berisiko terkena Musculokeletal Disoders(MSDs). Masa kerja dan durasi jam kerja dokter gigi merupakan salah satu faktor risikonya sehingga penting bagi dokter gigi untuk memperhatikan prinsip ergonomi dalam bekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama aktivitas kerja dokter gigi di Puskesmas kota Malang terhadap tingkat risiko terjadinya MSDs. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan case control. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dan didapatkan sampel sebanyak 21 dokter gigi di Puskesmas kota Malang. Variabel yang diteliti adalah masa kerja, durasi jam kerja , dan tingkat risiko MSDs. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner, Nordic Body Map(NBM), Rapid Body Entire Assesment (NBM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 5 responden (23,80%) memiliki masa kerja 10-20 tahun dan 16 responden (76,19%) memiliki masa kerja >20 tahun. English Abstract
In general dentists work with static and stiff positions repeatedly over period of time in practice so dentist could be at a risk of developing Musculoskeletal Disoders (MSDs). The years of practice and the duration of work in a day are one of the risk factors, so it is important for dentists to pay attention to the principle of ergonomics when they are working. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of long work dentist activities at Public Health Service in Malang City on risk level of Musculoskeletal Disoders (MSDs). This research is an observational analytic study with a case control approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 21 dentists at The Public Health Service in Malang City. The variables from this research were years of practice, duration of work in a day, and risk level of MSDs. Retrieval of data using questionnaire, Nordic Body Map (NBM), Rapid Entire Body Assesment (REBA). The results showed that 10-20 years of practice had 5 repondents (23.80%) and > 20 years of practice had 16 respondents.
