Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perceived social support dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Selain itu, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 146 orang dengan kriteria mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah multidimensional scale of perceived social support oleh Zimet dan Mitchell (2000) yang telah ditransadaptasi oleh peneliti dan skala prokrastinasi akademik milik Ferrari (1995). Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi spearman’s rhoT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara perceived social support dengan prokrastinasi akademik, dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,086 (p > 0,05)

English Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between perceived social support and academic procrastination in students who are doing their final project. This research uses quantitative research methods. In addition, sampling using a purposive sampling technique and the subject of this study amounted to 146 people with criticism of students who are working on the final project. The measuring instrument used is the multidimensional scale of perceived social support by Zimet and Mitchell (2000) which has been adapted by researchers and Ferrari's academic procrastination scale (1995). Data analysis uses Spearman's correlation technique. The results showed there was no relationship between perceived social support because the correlation value of 0.086 (p> 0.05)
