Abstract
Bioskop Metropole Jakarta Pusat memiliki nilai historis yang kuat. Dengan bentuk bangunan yang bergaya Art Deco ini memiliki karakter yang dapat merekam jejak sejarah yang dapat terlihat pada elemen-elemen bangunan. Tujuan studi ini sebagai identifikasi dan anaisis karaktakteristik bangunan, serta sebagai identifikasi dan analisis arah pelestarian Bangunan Bioskop Metropole Jakarta Pusat. Studi ini menggunakan tiga macam metode deskriptif, meliputi metode deskriptif analisis, metode evaluatif, dan metode development. Analisis karakter bangunan pada studi ini meliputi karakter spasial, karakter visual, dan karakter struktural. Hasil dari analisis ketiga karakter tersebut merupakan sumber untuk menganalisis arahan pelestarian Bangunan Bioskop Metropole Jakarta Pusat. Potensial arahan pelestarian dibedakan menjadi tiga, yaitu potensial tinggi dengan arahan pelestarian preservasi dan konservasi, potensial sedang dengan arahan pelestarian konservasi dan rehabilitasi, serta potensial rendah dengan arahan pelestarian rehabilitasi.
English Abstract
Central Jakarta Metropole Cinema has strong historical value. With this Art Deco style building, it has a character that can record historical traces that can be seen in the building elements. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze building characteristics, and to identify and analyze the direction of preservation of the Central Jakarta Metropole Cinema. This study uses three kinds of descriptive methods, including descriptive analysis methods, evaluative methods, and development methods. Analysis of building characters in this study include spatial characters, visual characters, and structural characters. The results of the analysis of the three characters are sources for analyzing the direction of preservation of the Central Jakarta Metropole Cinema Building. Potential directives for preservation can be divided into three, namely high potential with preservation and conservation preservation directives, medium potential with conservation and rehabilitation preservation directives, and low potential with rehabilitation preservation directives.
