Abstract
Desa Slamparejo merupakan salah satu desa yang sudah menggunakan biogas, dimana penggunaan biogas di Desa Slamparejo sudah mencapai 225 KK dari 1472 KK. Pemanfaatan biogas di Desa Slamparejo digunakan sebagai bahan bakar untuk memasak sehingga menjadi energi alternatif pengganti elpiji, menghemat pengeluaran peternak untuk energi memasak, dan mengurangi limbah kotoran ternak sehingga tidak mencemari lingkungan sekitar. Namun, tidak semua peternak di Desa Slamparejo menggunakan biogas dikarenakan pendapatan peternak non biogas diatas UMR Kabupaten Malang sehingga peternak non biogas tersebut masih mencukupi kebutuhan untuk energi memasak. Selain itu, minat dari peternak non biogas untuk menggunakan biogas masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat peternak non biogas dalam pemanfaatan biogas di Desa Slamparejo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penilaian kinerja pemanfaatan biogas berdasarkan standar dan analisis regresi logistik biner. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian kinerja pemanfaatan biogas terdapat variabel yang tidak sesuai yaitu pola pemeliharaan ternak dan pengolahan limbah hasil biogas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi logistik biner dapat diketahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat peternak untuk menggunakan biogas yaitu tingkat pendidikan, pendapatan, biaya memasak dan jumlah sapi.
English Abstract
Slamparejo Village is one of the villages that has used biogas, where the use of biogas in Slamparejo Village has reached 225 households out of 1,472 households. The use of biogas in Slamparejo Village is used as fuel for cooking so that it becomes alternative energy for LPG, saves farmers' expenditure on cooking energy, and reduces livestock manure waste so it does not pollute the surrounding environment. However, not all breeders in Slamparejo Village use biogas because the income of non-biogas farmers is above UMR Malang Regency so that the non-biogas breeders are still sufficient for cooking energy. In addition, interest from non-biogas farmers to use biogas is still low. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the interest of non-biogas farmers in the use of biogas in Slamparejo Village. The method used in this research is conformity assessment based on guidelines and Binary Logistic Regression Analysis. Based on the results of the performance assessment of biogas utilization, there are variables that are not appropriate, namely livestock raising patterns and biogas waste treatment. Based on the results of binary logistic regression analysis, the factors that influence farmers' interest in biogas utilization are education level, income, cooking costs and number of cows.
