Abstract

Perubahan iklim menyebabkan meningkatnya suhu dan kelembaban lingkungan. Beberapa rumah tradisional tidak nyaman dihuni karena suhunya meningkat seiring suhu lingkungannya. Sedangkan rumah tradisional mengandung nilai kearifan lokal untuk memperkaya konsep perancangan. Sehinggga pengkajian rumah tradisional saat ini dengan prinsip arsitektur tropis lembab terhadap lingkungan termalnya. Penelitian dilakukan di rumah tradisional Joglo Bucu di desa Puhti Kabupaten Ngawi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif menilai analisis visual dengan parameter dari kajian pustaka dan metode kuantitatif dengan pengukuran suhu di ruang luar dan dalam untuk melihat kinerja termal desain pasifnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kinerja termal di rumah Joglo Bucu tergolong kurang karena hampir sepanjang hari suhu ruang dalam diatas suhu netral. Material dinding papan kayu bangunan menyerap dan melepas panas dalam waktu yang singkat. Ini menyebabkan suhu ruang dalam meningkat seiring suhu ruang luarnya. Sehingga perlu memberikan rekomendasi desain efektif yang mengondisikan udara panas ruang dalam.

English Abstract

Climate change causes an increase in temperature and humidity of the environment. Some traditional houses are not comfortable to live in because the temperature rises with the ambient temperature. Whereas traditional houses contain local wisdom values to enrich the design concept. So that the assessment of traditional houses today with the principles of humid tropical architecture of the thermal environment. The study was conducted in the traditional house of Joglo Bucu in the village of Puhti, Ngawi Regency. The method used is qualitative assessing visual analysis with parameters from literature review and quantitative methods with temperature measurements in the outer and inner space to see the thermal performance of the passive design. The results of the analysis showed that the thermal performance in the Joglo Bucu house was classified as less because most of the day the indoor temperature was above the neutral temperature. The building material of wooden planks absorbs and releases heat in a short time. This causes the temperature of the inside space to increase with the temperature of the outer space. So it is necessary to provide effective design recommendations that condition the indoor hot air
