Abstract
Fenomena peralihan bahasa dari satu bahasa ke bahasa lain tidak hanya terjadi dalam percakapan tetapi juga terjadi dalam karya sastra. Lirik lagu adalah salah satu contoh karya sastra yang menggunakan alih kode. Mencampur bahasa dalam percakapan sehari-hari dengan mencampur bahasa dalam lirik lagu adalah hal yang berbeda karena mencampur bahasa dalam lagu terjadi tidak spontan. Hal tersebut terjadi karena ada faktor-faktor tertentu karena lagu mengalami proses edit dan rekam. Saat ini, mengkombinasikan Bahasa Inggris, Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Jawa menjadi populer di beberapa lagu dangdut koplo. Terkait dengan itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis alih kode yang digunakan pada lagu-lagu Nella Kharisma yang menggunakan 3 bahasa dan menemukan faktorfaktor kemungkinan dari penggunaan alih kode dalam lagu Nella Kharisma yang ditulis dengan 3 bahasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menjawab rumusan masalah. Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh dari Youtube, dan data dari penelitian ini adalah lirik lagu Nella Kharisma yang berisi alih kode dalam tiga bahasa. Dalam menganalisa data, peneliti menggunakan teori mengenai jenis-jenis alih kode dari Stockwell (2007) dan faktor-faktor kemungkinan penggunaan alih kode dari Davies dan Bentahilla (2002). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga jenis alih kode yang ditemukan dalam lagu Nella Kharisma yang ditulis dengan tiga bahasa yaitu Tag-switch (77 kasus), Intrasentential switching (17 kasus), dan intersentential switching (11 kasus). Tag-switch lebih dominan digunakan karena untuk membuat lagu membutuhkan bahasa yang efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, faktor kemungkinan dari alih kode dalam tiga bahasa yang dilakukan adalah lokalisasi dan globalisasi. Lokalisasi lebih dominan karena penyanyi ingin mempertahankan nilai budaya Jawa dan memperkanalkan bahasa inggris kepada para pendengar lokalnya. Kesimpulannya terdapat tiga tipe alih kode yang ditemukan dalam lagu Nella Kharisma diantaranya Tag-switch (77 kasus), Intrasentential switching (17 kasus), dan intersentential switching (11 kasus). Dan 2 faktor-faktor kemungkinan dari alih kode yang dilakukan oleh Nella Kharisma adalah globalisasi dan lokalisasi. Peneliti menyarankan kepada peneliti berikutnya dengan topik yang sama yaitu penggunaan alih kode untuk meneliti faktor sebenarnya dalam penggunaan alih kode di lagu, bukan hanya faktor kemungkinan dari penggunaan alih kode. Atau, meneliti lagu yang mengkombinasikan bahasa lokal lain selain bahasa Jawa dengan Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris
English Abstract
The phenomenon of switching language from one language to another language happens not only in a conversation but also in literary works that exist in society. The song lyric is one of the examples of literary works that employ codeswitching. Changing language in daily conversation and song lyrics is different because switching the language in song is not spontaneous. It happens because there are certain factors since it is edited and recorded. Nowadays, there is a new trend to switch English-Indonesian-Javanese languages in some dangdut koplo songs. Related to that, this research aims to identify the types of code-switching in Nella Kharisma songs that use three languages and to find out the possible factors of Nella Kharisma songs that use code-switching in three languages. This research use a descriptive qualitative approach to answer the research problems. The data was from Youtube, and the data were song lyrics of Nella Kharisma containing code-switching and written in three languages. In analyzing the data, the researcher used the theory of types of code-switching from Stockwell (2007) and possible factors of code-switching from Davies and Bentahila (2002). The result showed that there were three types of code-switching found in Nella Kharisma songs written in three languages which are tag-switch, intrasentential switching and intersential switching. Tag-Switch was the most dominant used since a song needs an effective and efficient language. Moreover, the possible factors of code-switching in three languages performed by Nella Kharisma are globalization and localization. Localization is dominant since the singer wants to maintain the Javanese value and the singer wants to promote English to the local listener. In sum, there are three types of code-switching found in Nella Kharisma songs which are Tag-switch (77 cases), Intrasentential switching (17 cases), and intersentential switching (11 cases). The two possible factors of code-switching in three languages performed by Nella Kharisma are globalization and localization. The researcher also suggests the next researcher to analyse the same topic which is code-switching with also revealing the real factor instead of only the possible factor of code-switching occurs in songs. Furthermore, it will be better if the next researchers analyse code-switching that involves another local language
