Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Human Capital terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Studi pada Karyawan Biro Engineering PT. Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi Jakarta Timur), lokasi ini dipilih oleh peneliti dengan pertimbangan bahwa PT. Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi merupakan salah satu perusahaan jasa konstruksi dan manufaktur di indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah Human Capital sebagai salah satu faktor penting yang mempengaruhi Kinerja Karyawan Biro Engineering PT. Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan human capital terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian penjelasan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Metode ini digunakan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antar variabelvariabel yang diteliti. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji t, dan uji F. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Pengetahuan berpengaruh secara parsial dengan nilai signifikan 0,039 lebih kecil dari α = 0,050. Keterampilan berpengaruh secara parsial dengan nilai signifikan 0,040 lebih kecil dari α = 0,050. Kemampuan berpengaruh secara parsial dengan nilai signifikan 0,024 lebih kecil dari α = 0,050. Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kemampuan secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 56,3% sedangkan sisanya 43,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Maka diharapkan Biro Engineering PT. Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi untuk selalu meningkatkan dan menyempurnakan human capital demi mencapai kinerja karyawan yang maksimal.

English Abstract

This study entitled The Influence of Human Capital to Employee Performance (Studies at PT. Wijaya Karya Industrial & Construction East Jakarta ), the location was choosen because PT. Wijaya Karya Industrial & Construction is one of construction and manufacturer company in indonesia. Background of this research is Human Capital which is one of the important factor that can affecting the Employee Performance of Engineering Bureau at PT. Wijaya Karya Industrial & Construction. This study aims to determine partial effect and simultaneous effect of human capital on employee performances. The type of this research is an explanatory research with quantitative approach. The method of data collecting is using questionnaires and documentation. This method is used to describe the relationship between variables and each other. Analysis technic that used in this research are descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, and F test. The result showed that Knowledge is partially affected by significant value of 0,039 smaller than α = 0,050. Skills is partially affected by significant value of 0,040 smaller than α = 0,050. Abilities is partially affected by significant value of 0,024 smaller than α = 0,050. The result also showed that Knowledge, Skills and Abilities simultaneous has influence in employee performance by 56,3% while the other 43,7% has influenced by other variables that not included in this research. Wishing the Engineering Division at PT. Wijaya Karya Industrial & Construction always increase and make perfect of human capital to get maximal employees performance.
