Abstract
Salah satu komplikasi yang dialami pasien Diabetes Melitus adalah Ulkus kaki diabetik. Ulkus kaki diabetik terjadi karena adanya inflamasi, iskemia dan infeksi bakteri sekunder yang akan memperburuk kondisinya. Salah satu proses penyembuhan ulkus kaki diabetik yaitu fase proliferasi yang didalamnya terjadi proses kontraksi luka. Sirkulasi darah yang baik pada area luka akan mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka sehingga dapat mempercepat proses kontraksi luka. Salah satu terapi tambahan yang dapat mempercepat proses kontraksi luka adalah Neuromuscular Taping (NMT) Limfatik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Neuromuscular Tapping (NMT) terhadap prosentase kontraksi luka pada penyembuhan ulkus kaki diabetik. Desain pada penelitian ini yaitu quasi experiment dengan pre-test dan post-test control design. Metode pengambilan sampel yaitu consecutive sampling yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi. Kelompok kontrol hanya diberikan perawatan luka modern dressing, sedangkan kelompok intervensi diberikan perawatan luka modern dressing disertai dengan pemasangan NMT selama 7 hari. Variabel pada penelitian ini adalah prosentase kontraksi luka yang dianalisis dengan aplikasi MOWA (Mobile Wound Analyzer). Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu rata-rata prosentase kontraksi luka pada kelompok kontrol adalah 9.17% sedangkan pada kelompok intervensi adalah 17.08%. Pada analisa statistika menggunakan independent t-tes di dapatkan hasil nilai p-value 0,006 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan diantara kedua kelompok. Kesimpulannya yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang efektif pada pemasangan NMT terhadap prosentase kontraksi luka pada pasien ulkus kaki diabetik. Saran pada penelitian selanjutnya yaitu dapat dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan durasi waktu pemasangan NMT yang lebih lama.
English Abstract
One of the complications experienced by patients with Diabetes Mellitus is diabetic foot ulcers. Diabetic foot ulcers occur due to inflammation, ischemia and secondary bacterial infections that will worsen the condition. One of the healing processes of diabetic foot ulcers is the proliferation phase in which the process of contraction of the wound occurs. Good blood circulation in the wound area will accelerate the wound healing process so it can accelerate the process of wound contraction. One of additional therapy that can accelerate the process of wound contraction is Lymphatic Neuromuscular Taping (NMT). This research aimed to determine the effect of giving Neuromuscular Tapping (NMT) on the percentage of wound contractions in healing diabetic foot ulcers. The design in this research is quasi experiment with pre-test and post-test control design. The sampling method was consecutive sampling which divided into two groups, namely the control group and the intervention group. The control group was only given modern dressing wound care, while the intervention group was given modern dressing wound care accompanied by the application of NMT for 7 days. The variable in this research is the percentage of wound contractions analyzed by MOWA (Mobile Wound Analyzer) application. The results of this research are average percentage of wound contractions in the control group is 9.17% while in the intervention group is 17.08%. In statistical analysis using independent t-test, the results obtained of the p-value 0.006, which means there are differences between the two groups. The conclusion is there is an effective effect on the installation of NMT to the percentage of wound contractions in diabetic foot ulcers patients. Suggestions for next research is further research with a longer duration of NMT installation.
