Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji dan menganalisis pengaruh leverage, diversifikasi, dan aktivitas perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis lebih spesifik mengenai seberapa besar pengaruh leverage, diversifikasi, dan aktivitas perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas baik dari pengaruh secara parsial maupun pengaruh secara simultan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan empat titik permasalahan yang ada diantaranya yaitu : Apakah leverage secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas? Apakah diversifikasi secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas? Apakah aktivitas perusahaan secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas? Apakah leverage, diversifikasi, dan aktivitas perusahaan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas? Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa leverage memiliki pengaruh baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan untuk diversifikasi dan aktivitas perusahaan hanya berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap profitabilitas. Hal ini berarti bahwa tinggi rendahnya profitabilitas hanya dapat dipengaruhi oleh leverage.
English Abstract
This research is examines and analyzes the effects of leverage , diversification, and company activities on profitability. This study analyzes more spesifically regarding how much influence of leverage, diversification, and company activities on profitability both from the influence of partial and influence of simultaneously. In this study, researches found four problem spots, including : Does leverage have a partial effect on profitability ? Does diversification have a partial effect on profitability ? Does the company’s activity have a partial effect on profitability ? Does leverage, diversification, and company activity have a simultaneously effect on profitability ? This type of research used in this research with multiple liniear regression analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that leverage has a partial and simultaneous influence on profitability. But for diversification and company activities only have simultaneously effect on profitability. This means that profitability can only be influenced by leverage.
