Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara forgiveness dengan bullying pada remaja yang menjadi korban bullying. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional yang melibatkan 423 partisipan yang pernah menjadi korban bullying dengan rentang usia 11 -20 tahun. Partisipan tersebut diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel Forgiveness diukur menggunakan TRIM-12 dengan 12 item yang telah diadaptasi. Variabel bullying diukur menggunakan Adolescent Peer Relations Instrument (APRI) yang telah diadaptasi serta dimodifikasi. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Pearson’s Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel berhubungan dengan nilai p = 0,000 (p<0,05) dan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,250 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara variabel forgiveness dan bullying.
English Abstract
This study aims to find correlation between forgiveness toward bullying behavior in adolescents who are victims of bullying. This research is a correlational quantitative. The sampling technique were collected by purposive sampling. This study involved 423 adolescents from 11 – 20 years old. The instrument in this study used Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations-12 Item Version (TRIM-12) for forgiveness’s variable and used Adolescent Peer Relations Instrument (APRI) to measure the bullying behavior. Both instruments have been adapted and modified. Data analysis in this study used pearson product moment and the result shows that forgiveness is correlate to bullying behavior. The result of this study was supported with significant level of 0,000 (p<0,05) and p=-0,250. However, The results of the study state that the higher the value of forgiveness, the lower the bullying behavior in adolescents who became victims
