Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran fear of aging pada wanita lajang usia dewasa madya yang telah mengalami syndrome premenopause serta dampak yang dirasakan akibat dari syndrome premenopause tersebut pada pekerjaan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan tiga orang wanita usia dewasa madya dengan rentang usia 40-55 tahun yang bekerja dan masih lajang dengan tipe voluntary temporary single serta mengalami syndrome premenopause. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian yakni dimensi physical menunjukkan adanya ketakutan karena terjadinya perubahan kesehatan pada ketiga informan. Pada dimensi transpersonal ketiga informan menunjukkan ketakutan akan kematian karena merasa belum siap menghadapinya
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the description of fear of aging in middle-aged single adult women who have experienced premenopausal syndrome and the perceived impact of the premenopausal syndrome on their work. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The informant selection technique uses a purposive sampling technique with the number of informants is three middle-aged adult women with an age range of 40-55 years who work and are single with a voluntary temporary single type and experience premenopausal syndrome. Data collection techniques used were interviews. Data collection techniques used were interviews. Analysis of the data used in this study was Miles & Huberman's interactive data analysis technique. The results of the study that the physical dimension shows the existence of fear due to changes in health of the three informants. In the transpersonal dimension, the three informants showed fear of death because they felt they were not ready to face it.
