Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara narsisme dan gaya hidup dengan perilaku konsumtif pada remaja di Kota Denpasar. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 399 remaja di Kota Denpasar diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan accidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan regresi linear berganda. Alat ukur menggunakan skala narsisme, skala gaya hidup dan skala perilaku konsumtif. Uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi regresi linear berganda, sehingga diperoleh hubungan silmultan antara narsisme dan gaya hidup dengan perilaku konsumtif pada remaja. Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara narsisme dengan perilaku konsumtif dan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara gaya hidup dengan perilaku konsumtif.

English Abstract

This study intends to determine the correlation between narcissism and lifestyle with consumtion behavior in adolescent in the Denpasar City. Sample in this research were 399 of adolencents in Denpasar City and recruited by using purpossive sampling technique and accidental sampling technique. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple linear regression approaches. Measuring instrument using narcissism scale, lifestyle scale and consumptive behavior scale. By using correlation multiple regression, it is obtained that there was a simultaneous correlation between narcissism and lifestyle with consumptive behavior in adolescents. There was a positif correlation between narcissism with consumptive behavior among adolescent and there was a positif correlation between lifestyle with consumptive behavior among adolescent.
