Abstract
Ibu modern memilih internet untuk memperoleh informasi seputar mengasuh anak agar dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Maraknya akun penyedia jasa edukasi parenting di media social menjadi pilihan ibu untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya akan ilmu parenting. Parenting whatsapp class merupakan inovasi dari penyedia jasa edukasi ilmu pareting berupa seminar online yang membahas topik-topik perihal parenting yang memanfaatkan media whatsapp. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah utuk melihat bagaimana bentuk pesan parenting yang dikomunikasikan oleh penyedia jasa edukasi parenting whatsapp class serta bagaimana pola interaksi dan pertukaran pesan yang terjadi di dalam parenting whatsapp class. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif menggunakan konsep Computer Mediated Communication dengan observasi dan wawancara sebagai metode pengumpulan data yang menunjukkan bahwa bentuk pesan yang dibuat oleh Rumah Lebah pesan yang disampaikan melalui komunikasi lisan melalui media youtube dan pesan yang disampaikan secara tertulis dalam bentuk pdf dan diskusi dengan peserta kelas. Pola interaksi dan pertukaran pesannya berjalan efektif terbantu oleh peraturan serta tata tertib yang dibuat Rumah Lebah sehingga para peserta kelas tidak hanya mendapatkan ilmu namun juga menjadikan Rumah Lebah sebagai parenting support system.
English Abstract
Modern mother choose the internet to obtain information about parenting so that it can be applied in daily life. The rise of accounts of providers of parenting education services on social media has become the choice of mothers to fulfill their needs for parenting knowledge. Parenting whatsapp class is an innovation from pareting education service providers in the form of online seminars that discuss topics about parenting on whatsapp. The purpose of this study is to see how the form of parenting messages communicated by parenting whatsapp class education service providers and how the patterns of interaction and exchange of messages occur in whatsapp class parenting. This research is qualitative research using the concept of Computer Mediated Communication with observation and interviews as methods for collecting data that shows the form of messages made by Rumah Lebah, messages delivered through oral communication via youtube and written messages delivered in pdf form and discussions with participants of the class. The pattern of interaction and exchange of messages run effectively that helped by rules and regulations made by Rumah Lebah so that the participants not only do they get knowledge but also make Rumah Lebah as parenting support system.
