Kurniasari, Sri Fatmi (2019) Uji Galur Harapan Kedelai (Glycine max (L.) Merr) Terhadap Cekaman Kekeringan. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
The production of soybeans in 2016 is estimated at 885.000 tons of dry seeds, decreased by 8,06% compared to 2015 which reached 963.183 tons of dry seeds with 614.095 hectare of harvested area and 1,57 tons per hectare of productivity (BPS, 2016). To increase the domestic production of soybean, a productivity improvement strategy is carried out and the expansion of planting areas by using marginal lands such as on dry land, efforts are required to test the adaptive varities and which has optimal yield of production, especially that has tolerant of water drought stress. The purpose of the research was to determined the effect and test the resistance of soybean (Glycine max L. Merr) strains of water drought stress, and the hypothesis was drought stress water affected to the yield of soybean and could be resist at the level of 75% field capacity. The research were conducted on November 2017 to February 2018 at the green house operated by Balai Penelitian Tanaman dan Umbi, Malang District. The research were conducted in Randomized Block Design Factorial 2 factors (lines and variety). The destructive observation (28,42,56,70) are plant height, leaf area, root length, root dry weight. The observation of non-destructive are flowering time and number of flowers. The observation of yield are total dry weight, number of pods, number of seeds per plant, weight of seeds per plant, weight of 100 seeds, harvested time and harvest index. The result has showed that plant height, leaf area, root length, root dry weight, number of flowers, total dry weight, number of pods, number of non empty pods, number of empty pods, weight of seeds per plants, weight of 100 seeds and harvest index of Dering 1 variety had no significantly difference from the four lines of soybean in conditions od drought stress 75% of field capacity. The G1, G3, G15a lines has high uniformity such as Dering 1 variety.
