Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi dan menjelaskan pengaruh love of money dan perilaku tidak etis terhadap kecenderungan kecurangan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah karyawan bagian keuangan di Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Terdapat 94 data berhasil dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Smart PLS 3. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa love of money berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku tidak etis, perilaku tidak etis berpengaruh positif terhadap kecenderungan kecurangan, dan love of money berpengaruh positif terhadap kecenderungan kecurangan. Love of money juga berpengaruh positif terhadap kecenderungan kecurangan melalui perilaku tidak etis. Implikasi dari penelitian ini sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam dunia kerja untuk menghindari dari perilaku tidak etis terutama tindakan kecenderungan kecurangan
English Abstract
The aim of this research is to predict and explain the influence of love of money and unethical behavior on fraud. The samples of this research are employees of the Finance Department in Brawijaya University, Malang. Data collection was performed using questionnaires, and data on 94 questionnaires were successfully collected . Hypothesis testing of the research was carried out using the SmartPLS 3 software. The results of the tests showed that love of money had a positive influence on unethical behavior, unethical behavior had a positive influence on fraud, and love of money had a positive influence on fraud. Love of money also had a positive influence on fraud through unethical behavior. The implications of this research are to be considered in work in order to avoid unethical behavior, especially fraud.
