Abstract
Tata Letak merupakan salah satu aspek terpenting dalam perusahaan industri. Tata letak fasilitas produksi yang terencana dengan baik akan mempengaruhi efisiensi aliran produksi. UMKM Mentari Bulan merupakan unit usaha yang bergerak di bidang produksi pangan yaitu tahu. UMKM Mentari Bulan dalam perancangan tata letak fasilitas produksi belum mempertimbangkan kelancaran gerakan perpindahan bahan (material handling). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang ulang tata letak fasilitas produksi yang menghasilkan usulan tata letak dengan biaya material handling yang lebih rendah. BLOCPLAN merupakan algoritma yang dapat digunakan untuk merancang suatu tata letak fasilitas produksi, dengan sifat campuran memungkinkan membentuk (kontruksi) dan dapat memperbaiki (improvement) suatu tata letak fasilitas produksi. Perancangan tata letak fasilitas produksi dilakukan dengan menggunakan software BLOCPLAN 90. Perancangan ulang dimulai dengan pengumpulan data jumlah, nama, luas dan derajat kedekatan fasilitas produksi. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan BLOCPLAN, layout usulan yang terpilih adalah layout 11 dengan nilai Rscore sebesar 0,92. Layout tata letak usulan menghasilkan jarak material handling sebesar 25,6 meter dengan ongkos material handling sebesar Rp 4.985.434,- per bulan. Rancangan layout usulan lebih optimal dibandingkan layout awal karena ongkos material handlingnya lebih rendah Rp 2.154.419,- atau sebesar 30% per bulan.
English Abstract
The layout is one of the most important aspects of an industrial company. The layout of well-planned production facilities will affect the efficiency of the production flow. UMKM Mentari Bulan is a business unit engaged in food production, namely tofu. The Mentari Bulan UMKM in designing the layout of production facilities has not considered the smooth movement of materials (material handling). The purpose of this research is to redesign the layout of production facilities that produce proposed layouts with lower material handling costs. BLOCPLAN is an algorithm that can be used to design a layout of production facilities, with the nature of the mixture allowing forming (construction) and can improve (improvement) a layout of production facilities. The design of the production facility layout is carried out using BLOCPLAN 90 software. The redesign starts with collecting data on the number, name, extent, and degree of proximity of the production facilities. Based on the results of BLOCPLAN processing, the selected layout is layout 11 with an R-score value of 0.92. The proposed layout results in a material handling distance of 25.6 meters with material handling costs of Rp. 4,985,434, - per month. The design of the proposed layout is more optimal than the initial layout because the cost of material handling is lower at Rp 2,154,419, - or 30% per month
