Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kondisi financial distress pada perusahaan tekstil dengan menggunakan model Altman Z-Score dan model Springate dan juga untuk membandingkan tingkat akurasi antara kedua model dalam memprediksi financial distress pada perusahaan tekstil yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2014-2017. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data laporan keuangan perusahaan tekstil yang dipublikasikan di website Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan tekstil yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013 sampai 2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling yang menghasilkan 14 perusahaan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Altman Z-Score, model Springate, dan uji keakuratan model prediksi. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan melakukan analisis financial distress dengan menggunakan model Altman Z-Score dan Springate. Hasil analisis dari kedua model ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sembilan perusahaan yang berpotensi mengalami financial distress. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa model yang memiliki akurasi tertinggi dalam memprediksi financial distress adalah model Springate.
English Abstract
This research aims to determine determine and analyze the conditions of financial distress in textile companies using the Altman Z-Score model and the Springate model and also to compare the level of accuracy between the two models in predicting financial distress on textile companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2017. The type of research used is quantitative research. The data used in this research are textile company financial report data published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. The population used in this research is textile companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method which resulted in 14 companies that were sampled in this research. The data analysis technique in this research uses the Altman Z-Score model, the Springate model, and the accuracy test of the prediction model. This research begins by analyzing financial distress using the Altman Z-Score and Springate model. The results of the analysis of the two models showed that there are nine companies that have the potential to experience financial distress. The results also indicated that the model that has the highest accuracy in predicting financial distress is the Springate model.
