Abstract
Jiwa entrepreneurship penting dimiliki petani untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Peran petani sebagai entrepreneur dapat menjadikan petani mandiri dalam setiap proses usahatani. Petani akan berpikir tentang peluang dan potensi bisnis. Teknologi yang terus berkembang serta perubahan iklim yang menjadi isu global, menuntut petani untuk dapat beradaptasi. Petani dituntut untuk berpikiran jauh kedepan dalam setiap rencana bisnis usahataninya. Petani dengan kemampuan berpikir jauh kedepan akan memperhatikan setiap pengeluaran biaya usahatani guna menetukan target capaian usaha dan evaluasi usahatani. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) menganalisis tingkat entrepreneurship petani jagung di Desa Ngampungan, Kecamatan Bareng, Jombang, Jawa Timur 2) menganalisis tingkat efisiensi biaya usahatani jagung di Desa Ngampungan, Kecamatan Bareng, Jombang, Jawa Timur, dan 3) Menganalisis pengaruh Entrepreneurship terhadap tingkat efisiensi biaya usahatani. Metode analisis yang digunakan terdiri dari distribusi skor untuk menganalisis tingkat entrepreneurship petani dan Stochastic Frontier Analysis untuk menganalisis tingkat efisiensi usahatani jagung di Desa Ngampungan, Kecamatan Bareng, Kabupaten Jombang, Jawa Timur. Terdapat delapan faktor untuk mengukur tingkat entrepreneurship petani, yaitu kemampuan petani dalam memperhitungkan peluang, independen, motivasi tinggi, dinamis, karakter yang kuat, fleksibel adaptif, kreatif inovatif dan mampu mengambil risiko. Efisiensi biaya usahatani dengan model Cost Frontier menggunakan fungsi produksi Cobb Douglas dan menggunakan fungsi biaya stokastik. Analisis untuk melihat pengaruh entreprenurship terhadap tingkat efisiensi biaya secara deskriptif dengan hasil dari regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) tingkat Entrepreneursip petani di Desa Ngampungan, Kecamatan Bareng, Kabupaten Jombang dapat dinilai cukup tinggi dengan total skor keseluruhan yaitu 47,9. Terdapat delapan faktor yang digunakan untuk pengukuran yaitu kemampuan petani dalam memperhitungkan peluang, independen, memiliki motivasi tinggi, dinamis, karakter yang kuat, fleksibel adaptif, kreatif inovatif, dan mampu mengambil risiko. 2) tingkat efisiensi biaya usahatani di Desa Ngampungan dapat dinilai belum efisien dengan rata-rata tingkat efisiensi 1,1880372 atau sebesar 84,1724485 %. Petani mengeluarkan biaya rata-rata lebih besar 15,83% dari biaya frontirnya. Untuk mencapai kondisi full efisien maka rata-rata petani harus mengurangi biaya sebesar 15,83%. 3) tingkat entrepreneurship petani di Desa Ngampungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat efisiensi biaya usahatani sebesar 20,68%. Kreatifitas dan inovasi petani merupakan salah satu faktor yang memiliki kategori kurang, sehingga dibutuhkan peningkatan kreatifitas dan inovasi petani. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengeksplor sumberdaya yang dimiliki kemudian memanfaatkannya, seperti menciptakan sesuatu yang tidak bermanfaat menjadi sesuatu bermanfaat dan memikirkan solusi untuk meningkatakan pendapatan sehingga menjadi panutan petani lain. Kemampuan manajemen usahatani penting ditingkatkan dengan cara memperhitungkan biaya usahatani guna meningkatkan produktifitas dan efisiensi biaya. Peneliti selanjutnya disarankan dapat melakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh entrepreneurship terhadap efisiensi teknis dan efisiensi alokatif.
English Abstract
The entrepreneurial spirit is important for farmers to improve welfare. The role of entrepreneurs can make farmers independent in every farming process. Farmers will think about business opportunities and potential. Technology growth and climate changes which have become global issues. Farming business plans. Farmers with the ability to think ahead will consider every cost to manage their farming to determine the business achievement targets and farm evaluation. The purposes of this research are 1) analyzing the entrepreneurial level of corn farmers in Ngampungan Village, Bareng District, East Java 2) analyzing the level of cost efficiency of corn farming in Ngampungan Village, Bareng District, Jombang, East Java, and 3) discribing the impact of farmer entrepreneurship level to the level of cost efficiency. The analytical method is using a score distribution to analyze the level of farmer entrepreneurship and Stochastic Frontier Analysis of the level of cost efficiency of corn farming in Ngampungan Village, Bareng District, Jombang Regency, East Java. There are factors to measure the level of entrepreneurship of farmers, namely the ability of farmers to determine opportunities, independence, high motivation, dynamic, strong character, flexible adaptive, innovative creative and able to take risks. Farming cost efficiency is using Cost Frontier model using the Cobb Douglas production function and uses the stochastic cost function. descriptive analysis is to know the impact of entrepreneurship to the level of cost efficiency. The results showed that 1) the level of Entrepreneurship farmers in Ngampungan Village, Bareng District, Jombang Regency is quite high with a total score of 47,9. Farmers are opportunities to increase opportunities, independence, having high motivation, dynamic, strong character, flexible adaptive, innovative creative, and able to take risks. 2) the level of cost efficiency in Ngampungan Village has not been efficient with an average efficiency level is 1,1880372 or 84,1724485 %. Average of farmers is pay more than 15,83% of their frontier costs. To achieve full efficient conditions, the average farmer must reduce costs by 29.75%. 3) Farmer entrepreneurship level has a significant effect on the level of farming cost efficiency of 20,68%. Creativity and innovation of farmers is one of the factors that have less categories, it need to be increased by the farmers by exploiting the resources such as creating something useless become something useful and think about solution to increase income who becomes a role model for other farmers. Farming management is important to decrease costs production and achieving cost efficiency. The next researcher can do a research on the effect of entrepreneurship on technical efficiency and allocative efficiency.
