Abstract
Menurut Kementrian Pertanian (2015) pulau jawa menjadi wilayah yang mengalami alih fungsi lahan yang cukup tinggi khususnya di wilayah Jawa Timur. Kota Malang merupakan salah satu kota terbesar kedua di Jawa Timur yang tidak luput dari adanya alih fungsi lahan-lahan pertaniansebenarnya Kota Malang sebagian besar penduduk memiliki mata pencaharian disektor pertanian. Tempat Pemakaman Umum Nasrani kota Malang memanfaatkan ruang lahan di dalam makam yang tidak terpakai membudidayakan tanaman perkebunan kopi jenis robusta dengan konsep urban farming. Keberhasilan dalam penanaman dan pengembangan pengelolaan kopi tulang di lahan makam juga bergantung pada cara pandang atau persepsi masyarakat sekitar tentang kopi tulang yang ditanam di lahan makam. Lahan makam dipersepsikan berbeda oleh masyarakat sesuai dengan latar belakang dan kepentingan masing-masing, sehingga akan menimbulkan perilaku yang berbeda. Karakteristik sosial ekonomi berpengaruh terhadap persepsi seseorang, anggota sistem sosial yang lebih inovatif mempunyai karakteristik sosial ekonomi sebagai berikut: tingkat pendidikan lebih tinggi, pendapatan, dan usia. Berdasarkan uraian diatas, rumusan masalah yang akan diteliti ialah persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan kopi tulang di lahan tempat pemakaman umum: Karakteristik masyarakat dilokasi penelitian terhadap pengembangan kopi tulang; pengembangan kopi tulang dari segi budidaya, pengolahan dan pemasaran; persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan kopi tulang; hubungan antara kondisi sosial ekonomi dengan persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan kopi tulang. Tujuan Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi karakteristik masyarakat dilokasi penelitian;mendeskripsikan pengembangan kopi tulang dari segi budidaya,pengolahan dan pemasaran; mengidentifikasi persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan kopi tulang; menganalasis hubungan antara kondisi sosial ekonomi dengan persepsi masyarakat terhadap kopi tulang di lahan makam Nasrani. Hasil penelitian ini antara lain: (1) Karakteristik masyarakat berdasarkan tingkatan pendidikan terakhir paling tinggi yaitu masyarakat tamat SMA dengan persentase 47,4%,karakteristik masyarakat berdasarkan pekerjaan yang paling banyak ialah Wiraswasta dengan persentase sebesar 28,9%, karakteristik masyarakat dengan jarak tempat tinggal dengan lahan makam Nasrani yang paling banyak ialah 125-175 meter dengan persentase 44,7%, karakteristik masyarakat berdasarkan pendapatan jumlah yang paling tinggi sekitar 2 sampai 3 juta per bulan dengan persentase 38,2%, serta karakteristik berdasarkan usia masyarakat yang paling tinggi ialah sekitar usia >50 tahun dengan persentase ii sebesar 32,9%. (2) Jenis kopi tulang yang ditanam di lahan makam Nasrani ialah jenis kopi robusta. Pemanenan kopi robusta dibutuhkan waktu 1 tahun, kopi robusta dapat berbuah sampai jangka waktu 5 kali panen per tahunnya. Proses pengolahan kopi tulang dan penggilingan dilakukan kerjasama oleh pihak lain karena pihak internal makam yang belum mempunyai alat penggilingan kopi roasting. Rencana penjualan pada kopi tulang kedepannya ialah dijualkan ke sentra pusat oleh-oleh yang terdapat di kota Malang. (3) Berdasarkan persepsi dari segi pengetahuan masyarakat dilahan makam nasrani sebanyak 76 responden mengatakan bahwa belum pernah mendengar adanya budidaya kopi dilahan makam Nasrani dengan persentase sebesar 92,10%. Pada indikator persepsi dari segi pengetahuan yang memperolehan perolehan tertinggi ialah kopi ditanam dilahan makam tidak menganggu aktivitas berziarah dengan persentase sebesar 74,72%, sedangkan persepsi dari segi sikap indikator yang memperoleh tertinggi ialah mendukung kopi tulang sebagai produk khas atau icon kota Malang dengan persentase sebesar 70,52%. Sehingga persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan kopi tulang memperoleh respon positif dengan adanya perolehan yang menunjukkan hasil setuju dan mendukung kopi tulang menjadi produk khas atau icon kota Malang. (3) Hubungan antara kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat sekitar makam yang merupakan responden dengan persepsi pengembangan kopi tulang ada 5 faktor diantaranya memperoleh hasil variabel pendidikan kuat, pekerjaan dan jarak cukup kuat dan pendapatan dan usia sangat lemah.. Berdasarkan Penelitian, saran yang diberikan kepada pihak internal maka Nasrani bagi pihak internal makam memberikan sosialisasi serta penyuluhan lebih lanjut mengenai adanya penanaman kopi tulang agar masyarakat diskeitar makam mengetahui keberadaan tanaman kopi tulang di lahan makam Nasrani dan bagi masyarakat sekitar makam dapat berpartisipasi dalam penanaman kopi tulang di lahan makam Nasrani serta mendukung adanya penanaman dan pengembangan kopi yang ditanam dilahan makam Nasrani.
English Abstract
According to the Ministry of Agriculture (2015), Java island became a region that experienced over the function of land which is quite high especially in East Java area. Malang City is one of the second largest city in East Java that does not escape from the function of agricultural land, actually Malang city most of the population has a livelihood in agriculture sector. Public Cemetery Nasrani Malang City utilizing land space in the unused cemetery cultivate robusta coffee plantation plants with the concept of urban farming. The success in planting and developing the management of tulang coffee in the cemetery land also depends on the way of view or perception of the surrounding community about the coffee tulang planted in the cemetery. The burial grounds were perceived differently by the people according to the background and interests of each, so that would cause different behaviors. Socio-economic characteristics affect a person's perception, more innovative members of social systems have the following socio-economic characteristics: higher levels of education, income, and age. Based on the explanation above, the problem formulation that will be researched is the public perception of the development of tulang coffee in the land where the public cemetery: characteristics of the community area of research on the development of tulang coffee; Development of tulang coffee in terms of cultivation, processing and marketing; Public perception of the development of tulang coffee; Relationship between socio-economic conditions and public perception of the development of tulang coffee. The sales plan for the bone coffee in the future is to be sold to the center of souvenirs in the city of Malang. (3) based on the perception of community knowledge in a christian cemetery as many as 76 respondents said that has not heard of the existence of coffee cultivation in the cemetery of Nasrani with a percentage of 92.10%. On the indicator of perception in terms of knowledge that acquires the highest acquisition is the planted coffee in the cemetery does not interfere with the activity of pilgrimage with a percentage of 74.72%, while the perception in terms of indicators that obtain highest is supporting bone coffee as a distinctive product or icon of Malang city with a percentage of 70.52%. So that public perception on the development of tulang coffee gained a positive response with the acquisition that shows the results agreed and supports tulang coffee into a distinctive product or icon of Malang City. (3) Relationship between the socio-economic condition of the community around the cemetery which is a respondent with the perception of the development of tulang coffee there are 5 factors including the results of strong education variable, considerable work and distance and income and age is very weak. Based on the research, the advice given to the internal party, Christians for the internal cemetery provide socialization and further counseling about the planting of bone coffee so that the community is diskeitar the cemetery knowing the existence of tulang coffee plant in the land of Nasrani cemetery and for the community around the tomb can participate in the planting of tulang coffee in the land of Nasrani Cemetery and support the planting and development of coffee planted by the cemetery of Nasrani.
