Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang dinamis telah menggerakkan perkembangan pola masyarakat menjadi masyarakat informasi. Secara umum, masyarakat informasi merupakan masyarakat yang mengenal teknologi dan memanfaatkan informasi dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pemanfaatan informasi saat ini menjadi inti dari rata-rata keseharian setiap individu. Hal ini menimbulkan dampak baik positif atau pun negatif pada masyarakat. Salah satu contoh bentuk perkembangan negatif adalah adanya evolusi tindak kejahatan. Saat ini, tindakan kriminal tidak hanya ada dalam bentuk kejahatan fisik, tetapi juga dalam bentuk kejahatan siber atau cybercrime. Kegiatan seperti penyalahgunaan akses, peretasan, pencurian, hingga penggunaan informasi secara ilegal merupakan beberapa contoh bentuk cybercrime. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu adanya peningkatan pengamanan dari kemungkinan ancaman-ancaman pelanggaran tersebut. Sebagai salah satu lembaga yang menyediakan informasi bagi masyarakat, Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Surabaya perlu menerapkan metode pengamanan informasi yang cukup untuk mengamankan nilai dari informasi yang tersimpan didalamnya. Pada penelitian ini, metode serta standar pengamanan informasi menjadi fokus dalam penelitian. Hal ini dikarenakan tujuan penelitian yang ingin menganalisis proses pengamanan informasi yang telah dirancang dalam manajemen sistem informasi kearsipan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Surabaya dalam mengamankan informasinya. Pada proses pengolahan data, penelitian ini mengacu PERKA ANRI No. 17 Tahun 2011 serta ISO/IEC 27001:2013 yang umum digunakan sebagai standar pengamanan informasi, baik untuk informasi dalam bentuk tercetak atau pun digital. Terlebih, Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Surabaya telah memiliki aplikasi pengolah arsip yang dikembangkan dan disebarluaskan untuk seluruh dinas di kota Surabaya. Oleh karena itu, proses pengamanan informasi menjadi suatu hal penting yang perlu diperhatikan Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Surabaya demi melindungi nilai informasi yang tersimpan.
English Abstract
The dynamic development of information technology has driven the pattern of society into an information society. In general, information society is a society that knows technology and uses information in their daily lives. Based on that situation, the use of information is at the core of the daily average for each individual. It has a positive or negative impact on society. One example of a negative form is the evolution of crime. At present, criminal acts do not only occur in the form of physical crimes, but also in the form of cyber crime. Activities such as abuse of access, hacking, theft, and illegal use of information are some examples of forms of cybercrime. Based on that situation, it is necessary to increase the security of the possible threats of violations. As one of the institutions that provide information for the community, the Surabaya Library and Archives Office needs to implement a method of securing information that is sufficient to secure the value of the information stored in it. In this research, methods and standards for information security are the focus of research study. It is because the purpose of the research itself, to analyze the information security process that has been designed in archival information system management in Surabaya Library and Archives Office on securing its information. In the data processing process, this study refers to PERKA ANRI No. 17 Year 2011 and ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 which are commonly used as information security standards, both for printed and digital information. Moreover, the Library and Archives Office of Surabaya City already has an archive processing application that was developed and disseminated to all agencies in the city of Surabaya. Therefore, the information security process is an important matter that needs to be considered by the Surabaya City Library and Archives Office in order to protect the value of stored information.
