Abstract
Suatu negara dapat mencapai pertumbuhan ekonomi salah satunya dengan partisipasi masyarakat dalam melakukan investasi. Salah satu instrument investasi di pasar modal yang paling diminati adalah saham. Saham merupakan instrumen yang mempunyai karakterisik high risk dan high return. Analisis saham yang digunakan adalah analisis fundamental menggunakan Dividend Discount Model dan Price Earning Ratio. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai intrinsik suatu saham dengan menggunakan analisis fundamental menggunakan metode DDM dan PER pada perusahaan sub sektor Food and Beverage yang terdaftar pada BEI periode 2014- 2017. Hasil perhitungan DDM dan PER akan dibandingkan dengan harga pasar saham yang selanjutnya akan dijadikan dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi saham. Keputusan investasi diketahui dari keadaan saham apakah undervalued (membeli), overvalued (menjual) dan correctlyvalued (menahan). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian explanatory dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor Food and Beverage yang terdaftar pada BEI periode 2014-2017 sejumlah 25 perusahaan. peneliti menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga terpilih 3 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria dengan kode saham ICBP,INDF dan MLBI. Hasil penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Dividend Discount Model (DDM) menunjukan ketiga saham tersebut, yakni ICBB, INDF, MLBI berada pada posisi undervalued. Hasil penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Price Earning Ratio (PER) menunjukan ketiga saham tersebut, yakni ICBB, INDF, MLBI berada pada posisi undervalued.
English Abstract
A country can achieve economic growth, one of which is community participation in investing. One of the most popular investment instruments in the capital market is stocks. Stock is an instrument that has high risk and high return characteristics. Stock analysis used is fundamental analysis using the Dividend Discount Model and Price Earning Ratio. This study aims to determine the intrinsic value of a stock by using fundamental analysis using the DDM and PER method in the Food and Beverage sub-sector companies listed on BEI for the period 2014-2017. The results of the calculation of DDM and PER will be compared with the stock market prices which will then be used as the basis for stock investment decision making. Investment decisions are known from the state of the stock whether undervalued (bought), overvalued (sell) and correctlyvalued (holding). This study uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population of this study is the Food and Beverage sub-sector companies listed on the BEI for the 2014-2017 period of 25 companies. The researcher used a purposive sampling technique so that 3 companies were selected that met the criteria with ICBP, INDF and MLBI stock codes. The results of the study using the Dividend Discount Model (DDM) approach show the three stocks, namely ICBB, INDF, MLBI are in an undervalued position. The results of the study using the Price Earning Ratio (PER) approach show the three stocks, namely ICBB, INDF, MLBI are in an undervalued position
