Abstract
Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor yang berperan dalam perekonomian suatu Negara termasuk Indonesia. Pariwisata di Indonesia berpotensi untuk dikembangkan mengingat bahwa Indonesia memiliki kekayaan alam yang melimpah, salah satunya terdapat di Kecamatan Trawas, Kabupaten Mojokerto. Kecamatan Trawas memiliki beragam wisata alam diantaranya, yaitu wisata Air Terjun Dlundung. Wisata Air Terjun Dlundung memiliki potensi alam yang masih alami. Dibutuhkan pengelolaan dan pengembangan secara maksimal agar wisata tersebut dapat menarik perhatian wisatawan. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan dalam pengembangan wisata Air Terjun Dlundung yaitu adanya peran dari Pemerintah Daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Fokus penelitian didasarkan pada Rencana Kerja Tahun 2016 dan Tahun 2017 yaitu peran Pemerintah Daerah dilihat dari kegiatan peningkatan dan pengembangan obyek wisata Air Terjun Dlundung serta promosi pariwisata Nusantara di dalam dan luar Negeri. Selain itu, juga dijelaskan peluang dan tantangan Pemerintah Daerah dalam pengembangan wisata Air Terjun Dlundung. Peran Pemerintah Daerah dalam pengembangan wisata Air Terjun Dlundung adalah sebagai motivator, fasilitator, dan dinamisator. Peran sebagai motivator yaitu memberikan motivasi pada pihak yang terlibat. Peran sebagai fasilitator yaitu penyediaan fasilitas. Peran sebagai dinamisator yaitu Pemerintah Daerah bersinergi dengan stakeholder terkait. Peran Pemerintah Daerah juga dilihat dari Pemerintah Daerah melakukan kegiatan promosi pariwisata. Peluang Pemerintah daerah dalam pengembangan wisata Air Terjun Dlundung adalah bahwa wisata ini memiliki potensi alam yang masih alami untuk meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan dan dapat menyediakan lapangan kerja. Sedangkan, tantangan Pemerintah Daerah dalam pengembangan wisata Air Terjun Dlundung yaitu penyamaan visi dengan pihak terkait dalam pengembangan wisata.
English Abstract
Tourism is one sector that plays a role in the economy of a country including Indonesia. Tourism in Indonesia has the potential to be developed considering that Indonesia has abundant natural wealth. One of them is in Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency. Trawas District has a variety of natural tourism, including the Dlundung Waterfall tourism. Dlundung waterfall tourism has natural potential. Maximum management and development are needed so that tourism can attract tourists. One of the efforts made in the development of Dlundung Waterfall tourism is the Role of the Regional Government. The research uses descriptive research types with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. The focus of this research is the role of the Regional Government seen from the activities of increasing and developing Dlundung Waterfall tourism and Nusantara tourism promotion in the country and abroad. In addition, it also explained the opportunities and threat of the Regional Government in developing Dlundung Waterfall tourism. The role of the Regional Government in developing Dlundung Waterfall tourism are as a motivator, facilitator, and dynamist. The role as a motivator is provide motivation to the parties involved. The role as a facilitator is provision of facilities. The role as a dynamist is Regional Government synergizes with related stakeholders. The role of the regional government is also seen from the regional government carry out tourism promotion activities. The opportunity of the Regional Government in developing Dlundung Waterfall tourism are the tourism has natural potential that is still natural to increase tourists and can provide employment. While, the threat of the Regional Government in the development of Dlundung Waterfall tourism is the equalization of vision with the related parties in tourism development.
