English Abstract

Along with advances in computer technology and information today, management information systems are media that can be used by organizations to manage management functions, including technology and are useful for assisting the decision making process. One component of management information systems is information technology. Information technology is a component of management information systems that provide many benefits in the process of getting information quickly and accurately. With technology-based information, an organization is expected to be able to process data into information needed so that the information is more useful in improving quality and supporting decision making. The purpose of this study is to analyze and obtain empirical evidence of the influence of service quality and system performance on the level of satisfaction of information system users. To analyze and obtain empirical evidence the influence of service quality and system performance on the level of user satisfaction. The population in this study was a student of the service of SIAM Universitas Brawijaya Malang, while the sample was 108 respondents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The type of data used is primary data with a questionnaire data collection method. The results of this study show that the quality of services and systems have a positive influence on the level of user satisfaction of the SIAM’s service on Brawijaya University Students both partially and simultaneously. The results of the study show that the level of user satisfaction with SIAM services is quite satisfactory, but there are several factors that have caused the level of user satisfaction can be improvized. According to users, the factor that has a low quality of service quality variable is that SIAM does not yet provide facilities in accepting suggestions and complaints from users. From the variable system performance is a disturbance and slow repairs when SIAM get interrupts.
