Abstract

Indonesia saat ini telah dilakukan perbaikan jalur pedestrian guna memfasilitasi pejalan kaki. Pengembangannya meliputi perbaikan perkerasan, pelebaran jalur pedestrian dan perbaikan serta penambahan fasilitas pelengkap jalur pedestrian. Seperti pada Jalan Diponegoro yang berada pada Kota Batu, di mana pada jalan ini terdapat kawasan perdagangan jasa yang menurut Perda Kota Batu nomor 7 tahun 2011 dijadikan sebagai pusat dari kawasan perdagangan dan jasa yang didukung dengan pengadaan jalur pedestrian yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, melihat hubungan kualitas ruang publik dan kualitas Active Frontages. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis tabulasi silang dengan pendekatan korelasi untuk mengetahui nilai keterkaitan antara ruang publik dan Active Frontages. Sebelum melakukan analisisi tabulasi dilakukann pemberian skor setiap atribut dalam setiap variabel penelitian dimana aktivitas 5 atribut, aksesibilitas memiliki 4 atribut, Keamanan dan kenyamanan memiliki 4 atribut, kekhasan memiliki 6 atribut, fleksibilitas memiliki 4 atribut dan Active Frontages memiliki 4 atribut. Faktor yang berkaitan akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi dengan melihat nilai korelasi berdasarkan nilai signifikansi dan nilai Spearman (2000). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan antara kualitas ruang publik dan Active Frontage yaitu variabel Aktivitas sebesar 0,740 , Aksesibilitas sebesar 0,777, Kekhasan sebesar 0,764 dan Fleksibilitas sebesar 0,783

English Abstract

Indonesia currently has done to facilitate pedestrian path improvements to pedestrian. The development includes the repair of roughness, widening lanes and pedestrian improvements as well as the addition of facilities complement the path pedestrian. As in Jalan Diponegoro in the stone town, where on the road there is a service trade precinct, according to Perda Kota Batu number 7 years 2011 trade area Jalan Diponegoro will be made as a center of trade and services supported with a pedestrian path procurement can facilitate pedestrian access to their destinations. This research aims to identify the quality of public space and the quality of the Active Frontages. Methods of analysis used in this study is the analysis of cross-tabulated with the correlation approach to knowing the value of the link between public space and Active Frontages. Before doing the analisisi tabulating dilakukann awarding a score of each attribute in each variable research where the activity of the 5 attributes, accessibility has 4 attributes, security, and convenience of having 4 attributes, specificity has 6 attributes, flexibility has 4 attributes and Active Frontages has 4 attributes. Factors that influence will be analyzed using the analysis of correlation with seeing the highest correlation value of each attribute in each variable. The results of this research shows that there are correlation between the quality of public space and Active Frontage which are Activity for 0.740, accesibility for 0.777, Uniqueness for 0.764, and Flexibility for 0.783
