Abstract
Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Kabupaten Lumajang memiliki tugas melaksanakan ujian pada Pegawai Negeri Sipil seperti ujian kompetensi dan menginginkan sebuah aplikasi ujian yang dinamakan Computer Assisted Test (CAT) berbasis website dengan tampilan yang baik untuk menggantikan proses pelaksanaan ujian saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan tampilan aplikasi CAT BKD yang sesuai dari tujuan pengguna dengan menggunakan metode Goal-Directed Design. Dalam penerapan metode Goal-Directed Design terdapat 6 tahapan, tahapan pertama yaitu research untuk mendapatkan kebutuhan terhadap aplikasi dari seorang stakeholder dan 6 pengguna. Tahapan modelling yang menghasilkan persona yang berisi 6 variabel dari pengguna aplikasi CAT yaitu peserta ujian dan panitia ujian. Tahapan requirement definition yang menghasilkan kebutuhan aplikasi CAT dan struktur informasi dari aplikasi CAT. Tahapan design framework yang menghasilkan hasil rancangan tampilan aplikasi CAT berupa wireframe. Tahapan design refinement yang menghasilkan prototype hi-fi. Dan tahapan design support yang menghasilkan analisis hasil pengujian prototype secara kualitatif yaitu user testing dan secara kuantitatif yaitu user experience questionnaire (UEQ). Hasil dari UEQ pada tampilan peserta ujian menghasilkan kategori excellent pada skala attractiveness, efficiency, stimulation, dan skala novelty serta mendapatkan kategori good pada skala perspicuity dan dependability. Sedangkan pada tampilan panitia ujian menghasilkan kategori excellent pada keenam skala dari UEQ. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan aplikasi CAT BKD baik tampilan untuk peserta ujian dan panitia ujian memberikan presepsi yang baik bagi pengguna
English Abstract
The Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of Lumajang has the task of carrying out examinations on Civil Servants such as competency exams and requesting test applications called Web-based Computer Assisted Assistance Tests (CAT) with displays that can be used for the current examination process. CATD BKD that is suitable for the user's purpose using the Target Design method. In implementing the Purpose-Realized Design method there are 6 stages, the first stage is research to get the needs of the application from stakeholders and 6 users. Stage modeling that produces persona which contains 6 variabels from CAT application users, namely examinees and exam committee. Stages of definition requirements that produce CAT applications and information structures from CAT applications use hierarchical task analysis based on card sorting. Stages design framework that produces the results of designing a CAT application using wireframe. Stage design improvements that produce a hi-fi prototype. And the supporting design stages that produce the analysis of the results of the prototype testing qualitatively are user testing and quantitative, namely the experience of the user questionnaire (UEQ). The results of UEQ on the exam participants' display yielded very good categories on the scale of attraction, efficiency, stimulation, and scale of novelty and gained categories both on the scale of perspective and dependence. While the appearance of the exam committee produced a superior category on the sixth scale of UEQ. From these results it can be concluded that the CAT BKD application is both a display for examinees and the exam committee providing a perception that is good for the user
