Abstract
Musik sebagai suatu seni merupakan salah satu kebutuhan batiniah manusia yang universal sehingga menjadi bagian penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Dalamperkembangannya music melaluisebuahlagumenjadi media penyampaipesan-pesantertentutermasukpesan yang memilikiunsurkepercayaan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti mencoba menganalisis pemaknaan lirik lagu dalam hubungannya dengan penyebaran ritual kepercayaan. Adapun lagu yang dipilihadalahlaguBohemian RhapsodyolehQueen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui representasi konsep ritual kepercayaan dalam lirik lagu Bohemian Rhapsody dan apa makna yang terdapat dibalik bentuk representasi ritual kepercayaan tersebut. Penelitianinimenggunakanmetodedeskriptifkualitatifdenganmenggunakanparadigmainterpretatifuntuk dapat menganalisis dan menarik kesimpulan dengan melakukan interprestasi-interpretasi terhadap gejala yang diteliti, yang pada umumnya tidak dapat diukur dengan bilangannumerik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis semiotika yang dilakukandenganmenggunakanteori Ferdinand de Saussure, diketahui bahwa pemaknaan lirik lagu Bohemian Rhapsody menunjukkankecenderungan perspektif kepercayaan atau agama tertentu. Pemaknaan perspektif kepercayaan dalam lagu ini ditunjukkan dengan menceritakan suka cita kaum Bohemian Grove atas suatu peristiwa yang melibatkan seorang masyarakat yang erat kaitannya dengan agama tertentu seperti Kristen, Katolik, dan Islam. Kecenderungan pemaknaankepercayaan dan spiritualisme dalam lagu Bohemian Rhapsody ini lebih mengarah pada sentimen keagamaan yang ditunjukkan dengan penyimpangan-penyimpangan unsur keagamaan dan lebih menonjolkan pesan baik dari sekte kepercayaan Bohemian Grove. Pemaknaanyang ditunjukkan dalam lirik lagu Bohemian Rhapsody diwakili oleh beberapa bentuk penanda-penanda (signifier), misalnya makna dari judul lagu, narasi alur cerita dari lagu tersebut, hingga penggunaan istilah-istilah yang yang erat kaitannya dengan sekte kpercayaan yakni Bohemian Grove.
English Abstract
Music as an art is one of the universal inner needs of humans so that it becomes an important part of human life. In the development of music through a song to be a medium conveying certain messages including messages that have religious elements. In this study researchers tried to analyze the meaning of song lyrics in relation to the spread of a belief perspective. The song chosen is the Bohemian Rhapsody song by Queen. This study aims to determine the representation of beliefs in the lyrics of the Bohemian Rhapsody song and what the meanings are behind the representational forms of that belief. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method using the interpretative paradigm to be able to analyze and draw conclusions by interpreting the symptoms under study, which in general cannot be measured with numerical data. Based on the results of the semiotic analysis conducted, it is known that the meaning of Bohemian Rhapsody song lyrics shows the tendency of a particular belief or religious perspective. The meaning of the belief perspective in this song is shown by telling the joy of the Bohemian Grove aboutbad event that involving a community that is closely related to certain religions such as Christianity, Catholicism and Islam. The tendency of the meaning of the perspective of belief and spiritualism in the Bohemian Rhapsody song is more directed at religious sentiments which are indicated by religious elemental deviations and further highlight the message of the Bohemian Grove sect of faith. The meaning shown in the Bohemian Rhapsody song lyrics is represented by several forms of markers (signifier), for example the meaning of the song title, storyline narrative of the song, to the use of terms that are closely related to the belief sect namely Bohemian Grove.
