Abstract
Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar dan terencana agar manusia dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya melalui proses pembelajaran dan/atau cara lain yang dikenal dan diakui oleh masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, pendidikan tidak terlepas dari kritik sosial yang diberikan oleh berbagai pihak. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kritik sosial tentang iklim pendidikan yang digambarkan dalam webtoon Trcikster. Penelitian ini mengambil batasan analisis pada episode 21 dan 50. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis narasi yang dikemukakan oleh Eriyanto. Proses analisis dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap. Pertama yaitu membedah struktur cerita dan alur dalam webtoon Trickster. Kedua yaitu dengan mengidentifikasi struktur narasi. Ketiga yaitu mengidentifikasi karakter dalam narasi. Sehingga pada akhirnya akan dilakukan pendeskripsian narasi mengenai kritik sosial tentang iklim pendidikan yang digambarkan dalam webtoon Trickster. Berdasarkan proses analisis, penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa panelpanel gambar dalam webtoon Trickster episode 21 dan 50 berusaha menggambarkan kondisi pendidikan di Indonesia serta memberikan ktirik terhadapnya. Beberapa kritik diantaranya yaitu praktik pendidikan rawan terjadi kekerasan terhadap anak yang terjadi dalam lingkungan sekolah maupun dalam lingkungan keluarga. Selanjutnya, juga ditemukan kecenderungan peran orang tua dalam pendidikan anak yang bersifat otoriter. Secara imlisit, webtoon Trickster episode 21 dan 50 juga menggambarkan kesalahan pandangan masyarakat mengenai anak pintar dan bodoh, terjadinya bias pada mata pelajaran tertentu, adanya kesenjangan atau terjadinya eklusivitas dalam pendidikan serta menggambarkan terjadinya parakti suap korupsi dalam sektor pendidikan.
English Abstract
Education is a conscious and planned effort so that humans can develop their potential through learning processes and / or other ways known and recognized by society. Nevertheless, education is inseparable from social criticism given by various parties. This research aims to find out social criticism about the educational climate described in the Trikikster webtoon. This study took the analysis limits in episodes 21 and 50. This study uses a narrative analysis put forward by Eriyanto. The analysis process is carried out in several stages. The first is to dissect the structure of the story and the plot on the Trickster webtoon. The second is by identifying the narrative structure. Third is identifying characters in the narrative. So that in the end there will be a description of the narrative about social criticism about the educational climate described on the Trickster webtoon. Based on the analysis process, this study obtained results that the drawing panels on episode 21 and 50 of the Trickster webtoon tried to describe the condition of education in Indonesia and gave a view to it. Some of the criticisms include the practice of education prone to violence against children that occurs in the school environment and in the family environment. Furthermore, there is also a tendency for the role of parents in authoritarian child education. Implicitly, episode 21 and 50 of the Trickster webtoon also illustrates the misconception of the public regarding smart and stupid children, the occurrence of bias in certain subjects, the existence of gaps or the occurrence of exclusivity in education and illustrates the occurrence of parakti bribery in the education sector.
