Abstract
Di awali dari adanya permaslahan mengenai kebiasaan masyarakat membuang sampah di daerah aliran(DAS) brantas tanpa ada proses pengelolaan lebih lanjut dan jika di biarkan maka akan memberikan dampak yang negatif kepada masyarakat sekitar Desa Mulyoagung dan lingkungan. Dengan di bentuknya kelompok swadaya masyarakat (KSM) bertujuan untuk bisa mencapai secara bersama-sama dalam mencapai visi misi yang telah disepakati oleh masyarakat untuk merubah kondisi mengenai proses pengelolaan sampah dan juga sebagai menigkatkan modal sosial yang telah ada di dalam masyarakat melalui unsur rasa percaya, jaringan dan norma atau aturan yang berlaku. Di mana dalam prosesnya peran aktif masyarakat dalam berpartisipasi dalam rencana pembangunan Tempat Pengelolaan Sampah Terpadu (TPST) sangat di butuhkan karena yang mengetauhi permasalahan, potensi dan apa yang dibutuhkan ialah masyarakat yang bertempat tinggal di wilayah tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengtahui bagaimana peran modal sosial kelompok swadaya masyarakat dalam pemberdayaan di TPST Mulyoagung Bersatu Desa Mulyoagung Kabupaten Malang dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Adapun tiga unsur dari modal sosial yang akan dideskripsikan dalam penelitian ini mengenai peran modal sosial dalam bentuk kepercayaan,jaringan, dan norma pada peran kelompok swadaya masyarakat dalam pemberdayaan di TPST Mulyoagung Bersatu Desa Mulyoagung Kabupaten Malang.
English Abstract
It starts from the problem of the habit of people throwing garbage in the brantas watershed without further management and if it is left it will have a negative impact on the surrounding communities of Mulyoagung Village and the environment. With the establishment of non-govermental organization, the aim is to achieve jointly in achieving the vision and mission agreed upon by the community to change conditions regarding the waste management process and also to increase social capital that has existed in the community through the element of trust, networks and applicable norms or rules. Where in the process the active role of the community in participating in the plan for the construction of an Integrated Waste Management Place is very much needed because those who are aware of the problem, the potential and what is needed are the people who live in the area. In this study aims to find out how the role of social capital of non-govermental organization in empowerment at Integrated Waste Management Place Mulyoagung Bersatu Mulyoagung Village Malang Regency using qualitative research methods. The three elements of social capital that will be described in this study concerning the role of social capital in the form of trust, networks, and norms on the role of self-help groups in empowerment at the Integrated Waste Management Place of Mulyoagung Bersatu Mulyoagung Village, Malang Regency.
