Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh objektivitas, motivasi, pengalaman kerja auditor, dan kompeternsi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 130 auditor yang bekerja pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di Jawa Timur. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang mudah (convenience sampling). Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survei kuesioner dengan responden sebanyak 100 auditor. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan model Part Least Square (PLS) dengan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa objektivitas, pengalaman kerja auditor, dan kompeternsi berpengaruh terhadap kualitas audit. Sedangkan motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kualitas audit. semakin tinggi sikap objektif dan kompetensi seorang auditor maka kualitas audit yang dihasilkan akan berkualitas. Tingkat pengalaman kerja auditor dalam melakukan audit juga menjadi faktor lain yang membuat kualitas audit yang dihasilkan oleh seorang auditor yang berpengalaman akan memiliki hasil audit yang berkualitas
English Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of objectivity, motivation, auditor's work experience, and competency. The sample in this study were 130 auditors working at the Public Accounting Firms in East Java. Sampling is done by easy sampling technique (convenience sampling). Data collection uses questionnaire survey techniques with respondents as many as 100 auditors. The data analysis of this study uses the Part Least Square (PLS) model with the application of SmartPLS. The results of this study indicate that objectivity, auditor's work experience, and competency affect audit quality. While motivation does not affect audit quality. the higher the objective attitude and competence of an auditor, the higher the quality of the audit produced. The level of auditor's work experience in conducting audits is also another factor that makes the audit quality produced by an experienced auditor have quality audit results
