Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang membahas tentang gambaran school wellbeing pada mahasiswa disabilitas tuli di Universitas Brawijaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan school well-being pada mahasiswa disabilitas tuli di Universitas Brawijaya. Data yang didapat, diambil dengan dua cara yaitu, wawancara, dan observasi. Subjek merupakan mahasiswa disabilitas tuli di Universitas Brawijaya yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling sejumlah 4 orang. Analisis data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukan gambaran school well-being pada mahasiswa disabilitas tuli di Universitas Brawijaya berdasarkan aspek having, loving, being, dan health,secara keseluruhan subjek bisa mengatasi permasalahan yang dimiliki pada aspek tertentu, tetapi ada satu subjek yang memiliki permasalahan pada hampir semua aspek, sehingga mengganggu school well-being nya selama di perkuliahan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk dasar pertimbangan universitas dalam menciptakan iklim belajar yang mengarah pada kondisi universitas yang well-being.

English Abstract

The research is about the school well-being among deaf students in Universitas Brawijaya. The researcher wanted to describe the school well-being among deaf students in Universitas Brawijaya. The data was collected by interview and observation. The research subject is a deaf student's in Universitas Brawijaya who was taken with the purposive sampling of 4 people. The analysis of data using data triangulation techniques. The research showed that the school well-being among deaf student's in Universitas Brawijaya described is the aspect of having, loving, being and health, overall the subject can overcome the problems that exist at a particular aspect, but there is one subject that has a problem in almost all aspects, so that disrupting his school well-being during lectures. The result of this research can be used as the school’s fundamental consideration in creating a learning atmosphere which led to well-being school condition.
