Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran academic self-efficacy dengan perilaku academic dishonesty pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Brawijaya. Subjek merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik angkatan 2015-2017 sebanyak 360 partisipan dengan teknik accidental sampling. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan dua instrumen penelitian yaitu Scale of academic self-efficacy yang dikembangkan oleh Solberg dkk (1993) dan scale of academic dishonesty yang dikembangkan oleh Lin & Wen yang telah diadaptasi oleh Wingkis (2015). analisis data menggunakan analisis data regresi linier dengan dukungan software SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan negatif antara academic self-efficacy terhadap academic dishonesty pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Brawijaya (r= -0.114, p<0.05)
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the academic self-efficacy role with the academic dishonesty behavior among the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) students of the Brawijaya University. The subjects were students of the 2015-2017 Faculty of Social and Political Sciences as many as 360 participants with a accidental sampling technique. In this study using two research instruments namely Scale of academic self-efficacy developed by Solberg et al (1993) and scale of academic dishonesty developed by Lin & Wen which has been adapted by Wingkis (2015). Data analysis used was linear regression data analysis by using SPSS 16.0 software for Windows. The results showed that there was a negative relationship between academic self-efficacy on academic dishonesty among the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences students of the Brawijaya University (r = -0.114, p <0.05)
