Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan Future Time Perspective antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Skala Perspektif akan Masa Depan (SPAM) yang dikembangankan oleh Astyarani (2017). Skala dibagikan secara online kepada 147 responden berusia 18-25 tahun. Hasil penelitian yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji Independen Sampel T-Test menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan terhadap Future Time Perspective. Berdasarkan hasil uji Independen Sample T-Test, dapat diketahui bahwa nilai t hitung adalah sebesar 0.059 (p value= 0.953) yang berarti nilap p value >0.05. Future Time Perspective tidak memiliki perbedaan terhadap jenis kelamin baik laki-laki maupun perempuan.

English Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the Future Time Perspective between men and women. Data collection in this study was carried out using the Skala Perspektif akan Masa Depan (SPAM). The scale was distributed online to 147 respondents aged 18-25 years. The results of the study were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test indicating that there were no differences between men and women towards the Future Time Perspective. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, it can be seen that the value of t count is 0.059 (p value = 0.953) which means the value of p value> 0.05. Future Time Perspective has no difference to the gender of both men and women.
