Abstract
Perusahaan asuransi mobil memiliki berbagai strategi untuk menawarkan jasa kepada calon pelanggan. Pada perusahaan asuransi kendaraan terutama mobil memiliki masalah untuk mengatur antrean mobil pelanggan yang akan diasuransikan maupun sistem pelayanannya. English Abstract
Car insurance companies have various strategies to offer services to prospective customers. In vehicle insurance company, particularly cars have problems to regulate the queue of customers' cars to be insured and their service systems. Queue is a waiting line used to obtain services. In this case, the queue depends on four parameters, namely the addition rate of the car to be insured (λ), removal rate of the insured car (μ), cancellation rate of the insured car (γ), and renewal probability of the insured car (p). The aim of this study is to obtain the insured car queue model using the queue theory in the form of a probability generating function and to obtain the results of estimating parameters of the insured car queue model using the Maximum Likelihood method. The decrease of formula is used to obtain these purposes. One of them utilizes the process of birth and death with a constant birth rate and proportional death rate. Afterwards, it is defined some circumstances and notations to help estimate the four parameters.
