Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kopi yang dibudidayakan di Desa Sumberejo Kecamatan Poncokusumo, mengetahui jenis-jenis tanaman penaung, menjelaskan proses budidaya kopi secara tradisional dan menjelaskan proses pengolahan dan pemanfaatan kopi pasca panen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai dengan Desember 2018 di Desa Sumberejo, Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang. Metode penelitian yaitu studi pendahuluan, identifikasi jenis kopi dan tanaman penaung, identifikasi budidaya kopi tradisional, pengolahan dan pemanfaatan kopi pasca panen melalui wawancara dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil dianalisis secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Hasilnya tanaman kopi yang ditanam yaitu kopi arabika (Coffea arabica) dan kopi robusta (Coffea canephora). Jenis tanaman penaung terdiri dari sengon (Albizia chinensis) dan lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala). Budidaya kopi tradisional yang dilakukan di Desa Sumberejo meliputi pembibitan, persiapan lahan, penanaman bibit di polybag, penanaman di lahan, perawatan, dan panen. Pengolahan kopi pascapanen dilakukan penjemuran selama 14 hari kemudian pengupasan kulit hingga siap untuk dikonsumsi maupun dijual. Persepsi responden terhadap kopi menunjukan bahwa responden cenderung mengatakan “setuju” terhadap pemanfaatan kopi sebagai konsumsi sebagai minuman, konsumsi sebagai makanan, sajian tamu, kegiatan masyarakat dan dijual sehingga kopi perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan mengikuti prinsip-prinsip pemanfaatan sumber daya alam berkelanjutan.
English Abstract
The aim of this research are to find out the types of coffee that are cultivated in Sumberejo Village, Poncokusumo District, find out the types of shade plants of coffe plant, to find out the stages of traditional coffee cultivation and to find out the processing and utilization of post harvest coffee. This study has been held in September 2018 until December 2018 in Sumberejo Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency. The method consists of preliminary studies, identification the types of coffee and shade plants, identification of the stage stages of traditional coffee cultivation, processing and utilization of post-harvest coffee through interviews using purposive sampling. Data was analized descriptively using Likert scale. The results of the coffee plants species planted are arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) and robusta coffee (Coffea canephora). Shade plants consist of sengon (Albizia chinensis) and lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala). Traditional coffee cultivation in Sumberejo Village includes land preparation, seed hatching. breeding coffee plants in polybags, planting on plantation land, fertilizing treatment and harvesting. After the harvest process, drying is carried out for up to 14 days and then stripping the fruit skin after it is ready to be consumed or sold. Respondents’s perceptions of coffee showed that respondents tended to say " agree" to the use of coffee as consumption as a drink, consumption as food, guest offerings, community activities and for sell so that coffee needs to be further developed by following the principles of sustainable natural development.
