Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaaan ekstrak jeruk manis (Citrus aurantium L. Osbeck) dalam green synthesis nanopartikel tembaga. Ekstrak jeruk manis digunakan sebagai agen pereduksi dan capping agent. Parameter rasio volume ekstrak jeruk manis dengan CuSO4 1 M dan lama waktu reaksi terhadap karakteristik nanopartikel tembaga hasil sintesis yang diteliti pada penelitian ini. Perbandingan volume ekstrak dengan CuSO4 1 M berturut-turut 9:1, 8:2, 7:3 dan 6:4 (v/v), sedangkan untuk variasi lama waktu reaksi digunakan 1, 3, dan 5 jam. Hasil spektra UV-Vis filtrat ekstrak jeruk manis diperoleh panjang gelombang maksimum antara 275-300 nm. Hasil spektra FTIR menunjukkan terdapat serapan O-H pada 3434 cm-1, C=C aromatis 1635 cm-1 dari ekstrak jeruk dan vibrasi ulur Cu-O sekitar 601 cm-1 dari nanopartikel tembaga. English Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of sweet orange extract (Citrus aurantium L. Osbeck) in green synthesis of copper nanoparticles. Sweet orange extract is used as a reducing agent and capping agent. The parameters of the volume ratio of sweet orange extract with CuSO4 1 M and the length of reaction time to the characteristics of the synthesized copper nanoparticles were examined in this study. The volume comparisons of extracts with CuSO4 1 M were 9: 1, 8: 2, 7: 3 and 6: 4 (v / v) respectively, while for variations the length of reaction time was used 1, 3 and 5 hours. The results of UV-Vis spectra of sweet orange extract filtrate obtained maximum wavelengths between 275-300 nm. FTIR spectra showed that there was O-H uptake at 3434 cm-1, C=C aromatic 1635 cm-1 from orange extract and stretching vibrations of Cu-O around 601 cm-1 from copper nanoparticles.
