Abstract

Barisan Fibonacci mengalami perkembangan yaitu dengan mengubah dua suku pertama dan mengubah bentuk suku-suku selanjutnya yang menghasilkan barisan Pell-Lucas. Pengembangan barisan Pell-Lucas dengan menambahkan parameter menghasilkan barisan baru yaitu -Pell-Lucas. Pada barisan -Pell-Lucas dibentuk persamaan karakteristik. Akar-akar persamaan karakteristik digunakan dalam menentukan formula Binet barisan. Dengan menggunakan formula Binet dapat dibuktikan identitas yang berlaku pada barisan -Pell-Lucas seperti Identitas Catalan, Identitas Cassini, Identitas d’Ocagne, dan limit hasil bagi dua suku yang berurutan. Diperoleh pula bentuk lain dari suku ke- barisan -Pell-Lucas berdasarkan fungsi pembangkitnya.

English Abstract

The Fibonacci sequence is progressed by changing the first two terms and changing the form of the next term which called Pell-Lucas sequence. The expansion of Pell-Lucas sequence by adding the parameters give a new -Pell-Lucas sequence. Characteristic equation of -Pell-Lucas sequence is formed. The roots of characteristic equation is used to determine the Binet’s formula of the sequence. Some identities of -Pell-Lucas sequence are proved such as Catalan Identity, Cassini Identity, d'Ocagne Identity, and limit of results for two termsin series could be proved by the Binet’s formula. And there also found the other form of term- in -Pell-Lucas sequence based on generating function.
