Abstract
Progresifitas stroke perdarahan dapat dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor. Salah satu faktor yang dinilai dapat mempengaruhi prognosis pasien stroke perdarahan ialah kadar gula darah sewaktu. Prognosis dari pasien stroke perdarahan dapat dilihat dari pengukuran skor National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) awal dan setelah terapi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara kadar gula darah sewaktu dengan keluaran pasien stroke perdarahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui rekam medik dari sampel penelitian. Sampel diambil dengan metode konsekutif sampling dengan interval waktu Januari 2016–Maret 2016. Kadar gula darah sewaktu diukur melalui pengambilan sampel darah intravena pasien stroke perdarahan dalam 24 jam pertama setelah onset stroke. Sedangkan pengukuran skor NIHSS dilakukan pada dua waktu, yakni dalam 24 jam pertama setelah onset stroke untuk skor NIHSS masuk dan 14 hari setelah pengambilan darah pertama untuk skor NIHSS pulang. Studi analitik observasional cross sectional tanpa kelompok control dilakukan terhadap data penelitian. Variabel yang diukur adalah skor NIHSS dari pasien stroke perdarahan yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekskusi. Hasil uji normalitas data menunjukkan bahwa data dinyatakan tidak normal. Terdapat hubungan yang lemah antara kadar gula darah sewaktu dengan keluaran pasien stroke perdarahan (Uji korelasi, p=0.402 α=0.05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi kadar gula darah sewaktu tidak mempengaruhi secara signifikan keluaran pasien stroke perdarahan yang diukur melalui skala national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS).
English Abstract
Progression of hemorrhagic stroke could be affected by many factors. One of the factors considered to affect the prognosis of stroke patient is random blood glucose level. The prognosis of hemorrhagic stroke patient can be seen from the initial score of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and score after therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between random blood glucose level and the outcome of hemorrhagic stroke patients. This research was conducted by collecting data through medical record from research’s samples. Samples were taken by consecutive sampling method with the time interval January 2016 - March 2016. Random blood glucose level were measured through intravenous blood sampling of hemorrhagic stroke patients within first 24-hour post-stroke onset. NIHSS score measurements were performed at two times, at within first 24 hours poststroke onset for NIHSS initial scores and 14 days after first sampling for NIHSS score outcome. Analytic observational cross sectional without control group was conducted on the research data. The measured variable was the NIHSS score of hemorrhagic stroke patients, which had met inclusion and exclusion criteria. The result of normality test from the data indicates that the data declared abnormal. There was a weak correlation between random glucose level and the outcome of hemorrhagic stroke patients (Correlation test, P=0.402; α=0.05). The conclusion of this study was that higher random blood glucose level did not significantly affect the outcome of hemorrhagic stroke patients as measured by National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
