Abstract
Lalat buahi (Drosophila melanogaster) merupakan salah satu vektor mekanik penyebab diare. Berbagai cara dapat dilakukan untuk membasmi lalat buah, salah satunya dengan insektisida nabati. Daun turi merupakan spesies Sesbania grandiflora yang memiliki kandungan flavonoid yang digunakan sebagai insektisida nabati. Quercetin termasuk kelas flavonol yang aktif dibandingkan dengan senyawa lainnya. Pada penelitian pendahuluan telah ditentukan konsentrasi terendah yang berpotensi sebagai insektisida pada konsentrasi 15%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efek penyimpanan ekstrak etanol daun turi terhadap penurunan kadar quercetin dan penurunan jumlah kematian lalat buah melalui metode semprot. Metode. yang digunakan adalahi eksperimental-post test control group design dengan sampel lalat buah baiki jantan maupun betina. Lama waktu penyimpanani pada penelitian ini adalah 5 hari. Penyemprotani ekstrak etanol daun turi dilakukani setiap hari di dalam kotak. kaca berukurani 25cm x 25cm x 25cm dani diisi 10 ekor lalat buah. Analisisi data dengan uji One-Way ANOVAi menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan antarai lama penyimpanan terhadapi penurunan kadar quercetin dani kematian lalat buah (p=0,000). Uji korelasi pearson 1 menunjukkan hubungan antara lama waktu penyimpanan dan kadar quercetin sangat kuat (r=-0,940). Nilai negative membuktikan bahwa semakin lama waktu penyimpanan, maka kadar quercetin semakin menurun. Uji korelasi pearson 2 menunjukkan hubungan antara kadar quercetin dan kematian lalat buah sangat kuat (r=0.880). Nilai positif membuktikan bahwa semakin menurunnya kadar quercetin, maka jumlah kematian lalat buah semakin menurun. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa lamai penyimpanan ekstrak etanoli daun turi (Sesbania grandiflora) 15% mempunyai efek terhadapi penurunan kadar quercetin dan penurunan jumlah lalat buah (Drosophila melanogaster) melaluii metode_semprot.
English Abstract
Fruitflies (Drosophila melanogaster) are one of mechanical vectors that causes diarrhea. There are bunch of ways to eradicate fruitflies. One of which is vegetable insecticides. Hummingbird Tree Leaves is a Sesbania grandiflora species that contains flavonoid used as vegetable insecticide. Quercetin is part of active flavonol class compared to other compunds. On preliminary study, it is decided that the lowest potential percentage as insecticide is 15%. The purpose of this research is to test the effect of hummingbird tree leaves’ (Sesbania grandiflora) ethanol extract storaging towards decreasing Quercetin and fruitflies’ (Drosophila melanogaster) mortality rate through spraying method. The method used is experimental-post test control group design with male and female fruitflies. It takes five days of storaging in this study. hummingbird tree leaves’ ethanol extract spraying is done in a 25cm x 25cm x 25cm glass box with 10 fruitflies. Data analysis using One-Way ANOVAi test shows significant effect of storaging duration towards decreasing Quercetin and fruitflies’ mortality rate (p=0,000). Pearson correlation test 1 indicates the relationship between storage duration and quercetin level was very strong (r= -0.940). Negative proves that the longer storaging duration and the decreasing Quercetin. Pearson correlation test 2 indicates the relationship between quercetin level and fruitflies mortality rate was very strong (r=0.880). Positive proves that the decreasing quercetin and Fruitflies mortality rate are. Based on this research, it is concluded that hummingbird tree leaves’ (Sesbania grandiflora) Ethanol extract storaging has effect towards decreasing Quercetin and fruitflies’ (Drosophila melanogaster) mortality rate through spraying method.
