English Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of provisim of honey solution as feed on activities and honey production of Klanceng bees at famine season. The materials used in this research were nine colonies of bees (Trigona sp), honey, and water. The method used was experiment using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments and three replications. Variables measured were feed consumption, the workers bees activity and the production of honey. Data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued by LSD test. The result showed that the treatments had significant effect (P<0.01) to feed consumption, bees activity carry nectar and bees activity into the nest. The treatments had non significant effect to honey production. The result showed that the treatment of mixture 75% of honey : 25% water can increase feed consumption and bee workers activity.
